I don't think it will be like last time by no means. Buna will be the toughest opponent EC has seen this year. We will see if EC can play with the rest of the rank teams. May God Bless both teams with no injuries and we are going to thank God if we win and thank God if we lose. May the best team win.

That's probably best advise I've heard come from kirbyville this year. LOL Kirbyville has a good team but so does Buna and EC. EC will get tested this Friday that's for sure. Best of Luck and God Bless our Kids from all the schools.

Buna bringing the hat causing turnovers. LOL Buna had their turnovers too. You lost so save the turnovers thing for yourself. Wildcat fans talked way to much to use turnovers as an excuse.  

There was two stops from behind. One on a punt (or kickoff) return and another on a breakaway.

Where in the heck is WildcatBacker. He crammed  wildcat down everyone's throat on every thread and now he disappears?  Take you crow like a man.

UIL needs to look into this game, Buna evidently had professional player suited up. No high school or college team could have beat those kats, they were to destroy everyone in that district. By the way, E Chambers is tied for first, Kats third.

I am statistician for WOS but I played for the Bucs back in the leather helmut days of the mid 1970"s , Mike and I have done a couple of EC games and it is fun to go back and watch these Bucs play. 

4 years ago almost to the week, WO-S was gearing up to play it's first game in 2 weeks. Two weeks prior, as everyone around here surely remembers, their starting QB Reggie Garrett had passed away on the sidelines of one of their games. It stunned not just the area, but the whole state. The next weeks game was cancelled so when they resumed play, it was a home game for WO-S, and it was against Kirbyville. Oh man I'll never forget it..... ~ WO-S received the opening kickoff and the receiver was tackled. What happened next brought tears and cheers across the whole stadium. The players for both sides took the field but something was a little odd. The play clock started, but the WO-S players just stood there with their hands held out. It took a second to sink in, but it seemed like everyone in the stadium realized what was going on all at the same time. They were holding out one finger on one hand and two fingers on the other...signifying a '12'. That was Reggie's number. They were out there with only 10 players......no one at the QB position.....and were going to let the play clock run down prepared to take a penalty in honor of their fallen teammate. Both bleachers came alive with cheers and crying and applause in approval and appreciation of what was going on. The clock ticked down and the penalty flag was thrown, but in a show of sportsmanship, Kirbyville declined it. It was an awesome thing to see that I'll never forget. I just wanted to share it..

East Chambers is definitely on our radar for playoff games.

No one would listen if they were terrible. Just be happy for Kirbyville. I think it say's a lot for Kirbyville and SETXsports. Both are doing a great job right now.
