  1. In the buna paper Brandon Hillin said he was going to play for etbu. GO BIG BLUE.
  2. Have u seen buna's bats they are loaded top to bottom. Last year they played a central heights team who had one of the best pitchers in the state and done very well. Shelbyville better worry about clark the kid is tough and a real gamer. Buna looks real tough and are poised for another big run go BIG BLUE. I don't know about Buna going far....Shelbyville with Estes on the mound is tough!!!!!! He brings it mid to high 80's, hard slider, 12-6 curve, split finger, change up, and knucke ball. But all of those pitches is not the tough thing about him to hit,....ALL OF THOSE PITCHES ARE FROM DIFFERENT ARM ANGLES!!!!!! fastball (high, 3/4 and low) slider (ect.),.......tough to pick up Now they have to play a 1 game next week, should be a good game (Clark vs Estes)
  3. Buna 9-3 them cougars are gettin hot. GO BIG BLUE.
  4. The frist game was 11-5 that aint very close 11-3 this time cougars are coming on strong. Go BIG BLUE.
  5. You can find the list of top 12 highschool homerun hitters at www.nfhs.org. You can really find any high school baseball stat known to man there and a lil fyi. Tracey didnt even hit 54 that is # 12.
  6. The alltime record for homeruns in high school is 75. It was done by Jeff Clement of marshalltown iowa it was set in 2002. The old record before that was 70 set by Drew Henson 1998 was backup qb for dallas. Tracy may have hit alot but no where near 84. I dont know if tracy hit more than bucky g or nathan r either.
  7. As of march 23 the last poll posted Bridge city was the only team ranked they were #5 in 3a. Buna was not ranked at that point that came from thsbca.com. Buna is now playing like they were last year it wont be long and they will be ranked. Take it one game at a time go COUGARS.
  8. I was wondering who people thought was the best hitter in BUNA baseball history. I think it was Bucky Gilchriest over his four year career he had several multiple homerun games. Just wondering what other people think.
