Yeah MBB2, I am like HillGuy. However, my daughter switched from another sport, to softball. She participated in AAU Track and Field and qualified every year for the National Junior Olympics. Around her 7th grade year, she says she wants to play softball, after winning all of these medals in track and field and still has a record in Middle School. I don't know how I would handle it if she were to tell me that she was ready to hang up the cleats. Well, she had better at least wait until she finishes college since she has a full scholarship. Otherwise, there would definitely be a lot of dust and pollen in my eyes. MBB2, I only have one word for just the few memories that you listed - PRICELESS!!!!

Thanks, for the updates.  It sounds like it was a very exciting game. I decided at the last minute to stay home, instead of going to this game. Looks like I missed a good one.  BH will be back next year. Congrats to the Ozen Lady Panthers.

Well, for Vidor, at least they are still in playoff contention this late in the season. Win and you're in, so they have some motivation and incentive to win. I don't remember, but, did PNG beat Vidor at Vidor?

WOW!!!!  Sounds like it was a good game. Ozen was up by 3 with 1:25 to play, and then down by 3 less than a minute later. Did Ozen try to spread the court and missed their free throws? Looks like Finger Roll called it, he just picked the wrong team. He said it was a toss up, but he said Ozen by 2 I said that I would go with the home team, and the game was played at Central. It's possible that they could meet again, but one of them might have to play Barbers Hill first.

This game is a toss up.  It could easily go either way, that's why they are ranked 6th & 7th in the state rankings. Another key question should be, "Where is the game going to be played?" I know the first game was scheduled to be played at Central, but was moved to Ozen. So, since that is the case, will the second game, which I think is scheduled to be played at Ozen, be played at Central? I think that having homecourt advantage could be the difference in such a big game. I would prefer that the game be played at Ozen, only because Ozen has the larger gym, and more fans would be able to enjoy the game. One option would be to play the game at a neutral site, like Lamar. Ok, my pick goes with the home team. If the game is played at Central, I will give the edge to Central. If the game is played at Ozen, I will give the edge to Ozen. If the game is played at Lamar, I don't know.  Ok, Ozen in overtime.

TSU is not a bad idea.  I am not sure of the capacity, if it's bigger than Phillips, but it's just as close as going to Pasadena.  It's right up 45 by U of H.  I would have mentioned Hofeinz Pavillion, but it is raggedy, and needs to be updated.  In the past I have gone to see several P.A. Lincoln playoff games at TSU, and they had a very large fan base that followed them.

I didn't attend the game, nor have I seen Barbers Hill play this year.  I just read about it in the newspaper. It turned out to be a very good game.  I would have given the edge to Ozen based upon their guards. However, I did notice, from reading the newspaper, that this is a young Barbers Hill team, and they are going to get better. I think that the Lady Panthers are finding their rhythm. It's possible that we could have a rematch in the playoffs. Best wishes to both teams.
