  1. Ashworth at WR/H has been a plus as has Gohlke’s accurate passing and slashing running style.

  3. No clue who wins this one. Going to say they meet again the Friday after Thanksgiving. Hope I'm right on this prediction.

  4. Why would they start seniors instead of normal players

  5. Hard to predict this rivalry. On the PNG side, and I presume the Ned side as well, by-and-large, Seniors will be the starters. After a series or a few plays or whatever, the usual starters will be on the field, regardless. Emotions are high. Neighbors going up against neighbors, cousins against cousins, sometimes step brother against a step brother. C. Joseph, when he first came here, referred to it as "familiarity". Many if not most of the kids on the field know each other. Throw computer ratings out the window. A few weeks ago I would have said that this is the Bulldog's year. But as of last Friday night I'm saying that the Indians will take this one.

    Trump Effect

When Trump came down the escalator, the first thing he did was to identify the traitors in this party. Bush and Rove were at the top of that list. Now, both are supporting Democrats in Texas It's official now... Trump was right, from day one!

  9. If that’s the case stick with that png vote lol but I doubt you picked Nederland last year tough year for the dogs… year before that was a pretty big upset and I’m sure everyone got that wrong so understandable

  10. I got this from Max: Silsbee rushing 32/146 TD passing 13-29, 215 TD-INT (Matthews was 12-26, 211 TD) The 29 pass attempts is the most all season total 61/361 yards WO-S rushing 33/374 4 TD passing 7-10, 131 TD total 43/505 yards

  11. The more I read about this incident it blows my mind the bravery of these bystanders and teacher. A witness driving by saw the shooter jump over the fence and he confronted him - shooter fired shots into his vehicle. That was equally as brave as it was stupid.....You can't notify 911 if you're dead. Luckily he was not injured and made the first 911 call. The hero of this story seen the interaction with the vehicle and drove into the parking lot, grabbed his 40 caliber and ran to where he heard shots. A female teacher threw her phone at him and started wrestling him and dude came in and put down the shooter. I'm not going to lie, I would be scared to death to walk into a school with a gun and be mistaken for "the shooter" - that was a brave dude on several levels. [Hidden Content]

  12. A different narrative to the anti gun debate. Had the dad not have a gun, it could have been much worse. Furthermore, the shooter used a pump shotgun, not the usual assault rifle or handgun. I found it interesting that the shooter fired 15 rounds, so he must have had time to reload at least twice.

  15. Is Gohlke QB1 full-time or was there an injury? I noticed he took the QB reps last week but just not sure if I missed something

  17. If Lufkin is involved in any tie that involves BU, they’re in trouble because they are at max points of -18 with the BU loss. Example: If BWB, BU, and Lufkin are tied, BWB is +14 right now, BU is +4 right now, and Lufkin is -18. Lufkin would need to beat BWB by 18+. That would put BU +4, Lufkin 0, and BWB -4. BWB would miss PO’s on points in a 3-way tie between these teams. If a multiple team tie involves RSS, it helps BWB & Lufkin equally as they both would get +18. BU doesn’t play RSS until the last district game. That game may well be for a PO spot. Point spread could be key.

  20. West Brook played the tougher part of the schedule first. They're in decent shape. BU is hoping they will still have all-hands-on-deck for RSS because the next 2 weeks is gonna be brutal. GCM and Lufkin will duke it out. But, I'm going with Lufkin on that one. I'm thinking Lufkin and BWB get the final spots. BWB getting the nod because of the win over BU. But, if a 3 way between BU, BWB & Lufkin, Lufkin's on shaky ground. They need a blow-out win by 18 over BWB. That would leave BU at 4, Lufkin at 0, and BWB at -4. Don't feel confident Lufkin can beat BWB by 18+. The way this district has gone...who knows?

  23. District is down for sure yes. Can’t deny that. But that’s pretty big slap in the face to say to Nederland when they beat Crawford straight up at their place. Give them a little bit of respect.

  25. I’m not certain on how good Nederland or PNG is, this may be one of the worst districts they have been in. These teams have been bad! Next week will be the only hard game they have in district play. Good luck and hopefully injury free to both teams.

  26. RJ was targeted 12 times tonight in the passing game. Almost 50% of the passing plays were for him to be involved. I saw a young QB improve even more tonight, even though the stats won't show it. Moved in the pocket well, escaped trouble multiple times to throw dimes. One specific third down drop changed the momentum as the bad snap next play ended a promising drive. Silsbee missing couple starting RBs didn't help but the real story was WOS big plays. The touchdown with 26 secs left in the 1st half was devastating. Both teams had drives ended inside redzone tonight due to fumbles, penalties, etc.
