What would they have done to the Tigers? I shudder to think. We matchup worse than HJ or Wax. Frankly, I would have hated to see Bush and Martin go out on a 60 point shellacking against a recruited mega team. I suppose things worked out they way they needed to.

If this year is any indication Yates team for next season probably isn’t on the floor yet.

I thought this was a game day thread and i see ur super salty!! the transfer thingy goes both ways ..kids in Houston are less stable than pretty much anywhere else in the state . I see it’s kinda hard for most on here to understand that ..most of you all want to draw the line up until the point to where it stops benefiting you ... With Bush getting MVP (which was a no brainer and a given), McClure is clearly the offensive POTY. Got nothing against the other kid who is a nice player, but it’s obviously just a case of let’s recognize as many kids as we can. Just a pet peeve of mine. Give the best player the award and put the other on first team. I can understand it in a blue moon if it’s too close to call. Not the case here.

Two of my favorite Nuke & Brae Bush. Brae coming down court, just feeling it, putting up a shot just inside half court. Swishhh. Against Yates. Chris Martin taking the ball full court for a perfectly executed lay up vs. Carter, as a soph. in the championship game no less. It don't get no better than that imo. Some info on what Friendswood Returns in 2020.Grden returns at QB - 3 or 4 th Year.He'll have 2 or 3 wide outs returning.2 running backs return.Anxious to see this kid named Corkran in the backfield.He's big 6-2 and runs well.He could be shifted to another position.If the NT recovers from knee surgery the DL should be OK.The lbs and secondary was hit hard from Graduation.Nice returning CB in Wade. Should be pretty stout on offense, defense will need some underclassmen to step up.

Great season, guys. We did the best we could with what we had this year. Silsbee was pretty much two players surrounded by freshman and a mostly rag tag undersized bunch of kids. The fact that Coach Sigler made it to region with them says a lot. And I know we don't like losing, but lets be real here: If we had played Yates this season, it would have been very ugly. Now it's time to rebuild and for Bush to make some noise at the next level.

Wax is a better team than China Springs. Watch what happens tomorrow. Wax had enough height to handle us. But they will be totally overwhelmed.
