  1. Past hour
  2. Couldn’t fish as often as I would have liked, so the boat sat. Always something…boat tags were out, trailer tags were out, low/flat tire, low battery, fuel and two cycle oil. I’m not telling y’all anything you don't already know. Gas prices are high but it was always the first thing I would do on pay day…..gas up. I would even keep it topped off mid week. Guy asked me why I kept it full, I said this is SETEX. Weather can change at a moment’s notice. I’m gassed up and ready to go. You’re going to that long line for gas. Like Hippy said, I’ve paid more and survived even while still raising my kids.
  3. Yep
  4. Break Out Another Thousand. Can you tell I was a boat owner many times over? 🤣
  5. And people ask me why I'm a libertarian. lol Somehow--as I've said on this forum so many times I've lost count--our government has moved from it's core purposes to being nothing more than a wealth redistribution system built on a Ponzi scheme. The solution is to shrink the size and scope of the Fed as our framers intended. Get back as close as possible to enumerated powers. Dreaming, I know. But, one can dream.
  6. You fill them all up twice a week?
  7. Higher gas prices are not a problem for those that can afford it.
  8. I own 2 full size trucks and 2 boats….I get it, trust me.
  9. Fill it up twice a week plus 2 other vehicles and see how it feels.
  10. Today
  11. Yep and the NGO’s fund this nonsense. Of course when I say NGO’s I mean the taxpayers fund it. Our government is nothing more than money laundering organization. This is why we are almost bankrupt and all our politicians do is sit around and talk about it. I already had a suspicion of this but listen to this clip. 14 TRILLION DOLLARS!!!!
  12. It’s why almost all the big cities in the country are blue.
  13. Corrupt as all get out. Stuff like this happens all over our country. It’s ridiculous!!
  14. Hopefully, Harris County will get back to where it was under Emmett. That was about as efficient as any sizable government entity I’ve experienced. It would be nice if Hidalgo either left early, or was given the boot, since she’s not running again anyway.
  15. Just paid $70 to fill up my truck. That stung a little, not going to lie, but nothing I can’t live with for a while. I’ve paid much more.
  16. We have the most ridiculous corrupt voting system in the world and it’s not even close. It has literally turn into a voting season with all the time that is allotted to vote much less the piss poor verification process. It’s almost to the point of being theater when it’s time to vote. You keep believing your nonsense when it comes to fair elections. I promise you that you will never convince me so don’t waste your time.
  17. I had to get a copy of my Son’s BC for something to do with sports, and I went to DT beaumont and it took 30 minutes. It was easier than getting my DL renewed when I couldn’t do it online
  18. Yesterday
  19. Harris County is definitely a pain. Had to go downtown to fix a title issue when the local annex messed me up. Was adding rights of survivorship where I could add a beneficiary to my autos. (Avoiding probate for my son on vehicles that are worth less than probate costs.) Coordinating between Harris County, TDMV, and the Feds new vehicle ID system was a nightmare.
  20. Well, I had to do it real time and it took a trip to Harris County. That online crap is how an alien could work the system.
  21. No, I’m not. I worked elections as a judge for 30 years the system is safe, impossible to rig on any significant scale that matters. One person, one vote. Since improperly registered voters are a statistical anomaly, efforts to “stop” something that doesn’t exist results in making it more difficult for people who want to exercise their constitutional duty to do so. ALL AUTHORITARIAN POLITICAL SYSTEMS TRY TO MAKE VOTING MORE DIFFICULT. We are headed for the end of freedom if this keeps up. Keep parroting this mess at your peril.
  22. 10 straight years in playoffs in a tough district. Good pay and pipeline. Should be a lot of applicants. And yes, the Beaumont schools are being left behind
  23. Whatever happened to deportations? Has Trump given up?
  24. You can say that again….. We have people of all ages, races, and income levels change their name all the time. 70% on the low end agree with voter ID. We happen to be talking to the 30% that thinks a majority of people are dumb, and apparently mostly women. It appears that of my two marriages, I pick some smart ones, because they were able to navigate that all by themselves….. I just double checked, you can order your birth certificate online, you don’t even have to leave your house…..
  25. Awesome
  26. Shout out to Huntington’s Josh Jones for winning District Coach of the Year. Went undefeated in district. Won by district and area. Lost at the buzzer regional semi’s. Building a solid program.
