  1. Past hour
  2. Trump!!
  3. Name me one, single hospital in the article that Trump shut down. Name me one, single hospital that will definitely shut down in the future. My healthcare is the same, but a lot more expensive because of ACA and Obama. I’m still not using the birth control. You’re welcome for the rest.
  4. Thank you. Life is just a bunch of choices…..choose wisely
  5. Well, I told y’all Obama and the dems are communists. Proof is in the pudding. [Hidden Content]
  6. Today
  7. Correa is out for the season with torn tendon in ankle. [Hidden Content]
  8. As stated I am a fan of Crumedy but not him nor his wife. Back to football and the direction of this team. The season is coming up. I did see that there is a camp (like a combine) being hosted for the football players and that is exciting.
  9. Good for you.
  10. Did you read it? I posted it. Is your health care any better? I do appreciate your sound bites and life experince. Thank you for taking us down memory lane.
  11. I imagine Crumedy is perfectly happy at the moment.
  12. I'm 60, and about to move to a rural area because I want a little land. I also understand that I'm moving away from convenient healthcare.....
  13. Did you read your article, or just grab it for the headlines?
  14. Here’s my take, blinded by hate, of course. What we have now is an oligarchy, where the ultra-rich are crafting policy to benefit themselves. The catch is that they have to get elected, so they promise tiny gifts from the treasury to the ignorant in exchange for votes. In this case, promise “no tax on SS” and the boomers all say “it’s fair.” But that money wasn’t taxed initially, either. No tax on tips and no tax on overtime? What an excellent way to buy votes, but when we’re already 39 trillion in debt and adding another trillion every one hundred days, can we afford tax cuts? Of course not… but if you’re President Trump and you’ve tripled your net worth and scored a luxury jet in the last year and four months, what does it matter? It’s the classic “we’ll give them what they want and they’re too dumb to see what’s actually going on.” If paying income tax on the pittance of SS that could possibly end up being taxable is reason enough to destroy the future of your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, then shame on y'all. 15. Yes indeed! I laughed at that also! 😂😂

  17. Thank you for your input Coach Crumedy (or is it Mrs. Crumedy?). Sorry it didn't work out for you here in Jasper😄.
  18. I don’t know who said it. But, if I’d had my druthers, I’d still be on the farm. My family went bankrupt twice farming which is why my dad moved us to the Texas Gulf coast area and he got a job at DuPont. After my Service all over the world, I came back, and also worked many years at the plants while getting my degrees. I didn’t finish my second degree until I was in my late 40’s, married, with a son. Personally, I think people learn a lot more, and become more self-reliant growing up in rural areas. I took my son to the country every chance I could. He learned how to do things he would never learn in a metro area. Yes. Medical is a challenge. As I said, it always has been. It’s not Trump Admin specific. That’s why my wife and I still live where we do. We’d love to live out a bit. But, medical care as we get older is more important. Especially so with her Parkinson’s Plus. I’ve done many things in my life. I’ve been blessed. One thing I know is—at 63–there’s still more things I don’t even know that I don’t know. But, I’ve experienced more than most, and I don’t fall for talking points and sound bites.
  19. Someone said it was a bad thing, pointing out that for many people, it isn't a choice and they're suffering because the healthcare systems in those areas have been shut down intentionally by this administration. Has your health care been any better for you and your family?
  20. Why is living in a rural area a bad thing?
  21. What does have to do with people suffering and having no choice but to live in rural areas?
  22. Texan Live will be doing all the games.
  23. I was born and raised on a farm in Dalhart, TX. Look it up. My mother was born and raised in a one room 'house' with no running water or electricity in the Ozarks of Arkansas. I have travelled extensively to every state in the Union aside from Hawaii and Alaska. I'm well aware of rural areas. My comments are in no way selfish. Your comments are inaccurate, and are merely the old, tired, Dem talking points.
  24. I can think of several real people who are actually suffering. Your comment makes no sense, and your comments are actually selfish. Do some research. Do you think all people live in rural areas by choice? You should go out and travel to places like West Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. Look up counties and you’ll see. Williamsburg County for starters. You specialize in oil and have done well for yourself. Stick to what you know.
  25. Story of the season...... unfortunately.
