  1. Past hour
  2. I have seen multiple videos in both cases. Have you read the link I posted? I stand by my statement that—in both cases—the deceased and others were performing illegal actions according to the courts. Just the acts of whistling, yelling, distracting LEO’s, or encroaching on an area is illegal according to the courts. Does that mean Good and/or Pretti should have been shot? IMHO…I’d think there could have been a lesser alternative chosen. But, I’m not into second-guessing someone in a conflict situation. I’ve been there in slightly different situations. Although, I will say my situation was me or them. Different.
  3. Will still need Mickey Leland to beat either Furr or Worthing in final week. Wheatley does not control their own destiny. They do have to win out outside of the Washington game.
  4. Did you look at the video?
  5. As my background is military/‘foreign affairs’ oriented and engineering—not law enforcement—I was interested in any SCOTUS rulings on distance requirements during an active law enforcement activity. I wasn’t sure of it myself. I just always tried to stay back. Clearly, Good wasn’t following these guidelines, and Pretti is still not clear as—in the Good incident—the first videos only pick up at the confrontation, and don’t show the full interaction. Pretti was obviously on scene before the widely circulated videos begin. What was he doing? Was he interacting with anyone? In the rush for each ‘side’ to claim the narrative, videos are being presented that only show what the videographer wants to show. 7. Violent protesters will always be met with the least amount of force necessary to subdue an individual. That is the law. Violent protester is your probable cause. That law has always been on the books.
  8. 👏👏👏👏 Now the governor and mayor of Minnesota and Minneapolis want to cooperate. Lol
  9. I think one of the more telling things is this… no actual police experts are coming out and saying “good shoot. This is how we train our officers to respond.” You have the right to blow a whistle. You have the right to film police work. You have a right to yell, insult, or even curse police. You have a right to carry a gun. You have a right to peacefully protest. What the police don’t have is the right to do is initiate contact, “accidentally” kill you, then say “well, he was a terrorist. if Democrat leaders weren’t encouraging people to do these things, he wouldn’t be dead.” Which pretty much sums up the last two killings by MAGA agents and the immediate response from the right. The main problem is that we’re all so short sighted. After events like this, either side can be like “well, sucks for y’all” and then be completely blindsided when the other side escalates the conflict. Somebody is out there right now thinking… “oh, yeah? How can I hit those fascists back?” The same people who cried about Charlie Kirk seem pretty “okay” with protestors getting gunned down. And vice versa…. People who were excited about CK’s passing are FURIOUS about what happened in Minnesota. We should all be disgusted by both events. I encourage each of you to look at a family photo and try to decide which of your family members are most likely to be lost if an actual conflict breaks out. Because the reality is that we’ll all lose people if both sides don’t figure out how to turn down the heat before it all blows up. It’s easy to get on here and spam post on behalf of “our” side, but reality exists beyond our screens.
  10. Wheatley still has a chance of making the playoffs if they win out which is very possible. BTW will be there only problem, they split with Yates this year and made easy work of everyone else in the district.
  11. That argument has zero credibility. If there had not been radicals in the Capitol on January 6, 2021, no cops would have been killed. Radicals exist. That don’t excuse murder.
  12. How have you never seen the video? This video is worth a watch. This is a fairly conservative lawyer who breaks down shootings and other political and criminal things. If you don’t want to spend 20 minutes watching the whole thing, I’d start around the 3:30 min mark and watch until about the 8:00 min mark. It shows the shooting to some degree. It definitely shows the mob trying to break down the barricaded door and the cops with guns already out on the other side. If you really want a clear look of her climbing through the window and falling back out of it, you can find it online.
  13. Concerning DCT, should we be respecting our elders?! 🤷‍♂️😁
  14. Ha! May want to try Qunol Turmeric cause that ginkgo biloba ain’t cutting it. 😉
  15. You just did it again. lol If you want to add/edit, use the 3 dots in the upper right-hand corner of your post & select edit and then resave. Either that, or reuse my post again instead of yours. That way, it makes more sense who you’re talking to/about.
  16. Just ask the mods how many times I make corrections. As I get older I find myself repeating. I believe that comes with aging. Need more ginkgo bIlona.
  17. It ms hard typing with old and chubby fingers on a IPhone and be left handed.
  18. I have no clue what you’re talking about. Half of your posts, you quote yourself. Not sure what you’re doing to do that. But, it makes it hard to know who you’re talking to. You responded to one of my posts to Lumberton earlier today, and then started responding to your own posts again. That’s what we’re talking about. Go look back at your earlier posts today.
  19. I wish that was a true statement. You have great officers and then you have bad ones. Remember New Orleans?
  20. I’m sorry, I thought you not speaking. Thank you for responding.
  21. We won’t know that for sure until/unless the BORTAC agent’s body cam footage is released. Only then will we see what happened before the released videos shot by onlookers. It’s been reported that multiple agents still had body cams, and they were on.
  22. It’s really not that hard to not get shot by law enforcement.
  23. There was no avoidance confrontation or deescalation. Which is apart of training. You just gave a perfect example. Bravino has just been replaced.
  24. “President Donald Trump said he was placing his border czar, Tom Homan, in charge of the mission, with Homan reporting directly to the White House, after Bovino drew condemnation for claiming the man who was killed, Alex Pretti, had been planning to “massacre” law enforcement officers, a characterization that authorities had not substantiated” Excerpt From “Border Patrol chief to leave Minneapolis as Trump reshuffles the leadership of his immigration crackdown” The Associated Press
  25. Howard might not be Heritage’s best player. He and Cam Lomax are very good. He is going to SMU, so they will be ok if you think Howard will have to do it all by himself.
