[Hidden Content] Tax payers have money to fork up. He is definitely putting America first. ๐ Trump says he is sort of suing himself. What a way to drain the swamp. $40 billion to bail out another country and now $230 million to put gump before country.

Whatโs funny, the fact that you conโt find this on your own?

Not being a homer, but I do see PNG winning this one... 42-20. No one has stopped them all year and it won't start with Nerdland.

You should really research before posting. Millions were not given due process but no fake outrage or protests. Unbelievable! Google search: It is not true that everyone deported under the Obama administration received due process . While the administration deported millions through formal court proceedings, it was heavily criticized by civil rights groups for its extensive use of "fast-track" or "expedited removal" processes that denied many individuals a fair hearing. Key issues regarding due process during the Obama administration included: Expedited removal: This process allows immigration officers to deport individuals without a court hearing under certain conditions, such as being apprehended within 100 miles of the border and within two weeks of arrival. The Obama administration used and expanded these fast-track removals, which led to many people being deported without a chance to see an immigration judge. "Rocket dockets": These expedited immigration court hearings for mothers and children arriving from Central America were also criticized for rushing cases. An NBC News report found that the speed of the dockets limited the ability of vulnerable asylum seekers to find legal representation and prepare their cases. Limited access to counsel: Unlike criminal proceedings, immigrants facing deportation are not guaranteed a government-provided attorney. Many individuals, including children, went through immigration proceedings without legal representation, which experts said made it nearly impossible to have a fair hearing. Deportation of asylum-seekers: In some cases, the administration was accused of deporting asylum-seekers without proper oversight from federal courts, a practice that civil rights groups challenged as unconstitutional. Focus on speed over fairness: Organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)argued that the administration's focus on achieving high deportation numbers led to a system that sacrificed fairness and individualized due process. It is important to note that the Obama administration's record on deportations was complex, with different policies for prioritizing who would be removed. However, human rights organizations and legal experts consistently raised concerns that the scale and speed of deportations often came at the expense of proper due process for many individuals

I am aware of that fact. Biden ended up with the pullout of troops and the Taliban took over. What did I say that was incorrect?
-
He legally deported people. They were given a trial. Habeas corpus per the Constitution everyone is entitled to it.

It was Trump's decision to pull out of Afghanistan.

Some of the TDS in this forum is insane. Since when is it a bad idea to have allies? I remember when Trump made history being the first President to walk into North Korea. The media and his haters thought he was crazy.....we don't negotiate with terrorist.....but here we are in his second term and he had negotiated 7 cease fires........but the TDS folks are complaining because he is adding on to the East wing with his own money plus donors......

2025 Pick'em Results & Discussion
Mr. Buddy Garrity replied to WOSdrummer99's topic in High School Football
I just realized something really strange: I haven't PM'd any Admin or Mod to switch any of my pick'em picks this season. That changes today ๐ -
Here is the problem Democrats face. The shutdown is not being blamed on Trump. Trump as of today has an AVERAGE approval rating of 45.5% On the same polling site, Obama had an AVERAGE approval rating of 43.7% on Oct 21st in the first year of his second term, so apples to apples..... If you look at the favorability ratings, leaders in Congress and senate on both sides don't look great, but Republicans have a slightly better favorability than Democrats...... I predict enough Dem's vote yes to get this thing through by the end of the week.
-
My point about the local TV stations making this their GOW. There are 4-5 other games this week that have more riding on it than this game.
-
In most normal years this thread would be about 5-8 pages long by Wednesday morning.......yikes ๐ณ

My guess is no. That would make the win a bigger deal than it is/was. In last season's context, PNG was ranked #1 in state at the time, and Ned was in a seemingly come-back season, and excitement overcame them, although the display didn't exhibit very much if any class. You never know, of course, but my guess is still no, hopefully they have more class than that.
-
It would be funny to see a 27 point favorite field storm. As I recall, Ned was a 21 point dog last year.
-
Wow, BC is tough. Hard to say on this one. LCM had some key players return a couple weeks ago after being out all if not most of season. I'm gonna go with KBRA.
-
And he received a lot of flack from his base. He is in a bad situation. I think he is hoping some other Democrats vote to spare him this time
