  2. Celina ISD teacher and coach charged with invasive visual recording, placed on indefinite leave, officials say - CBS Texas HC/AD's son is the one arrested.
  3. I am not sure the result would have been the same in the Buna game. As one person mentioned on another thread, EC was missing a starting RB in that game? I feel as though Anahuac can score on East Chambers. Not enough to win, but certainly enough to keep it entertaining. Does anyone else think this way, or no?
  4. Actual history Barbay passed in 2010 , Shorter was a freshman . Newton won district but later got massacred in the playoffs by good Cameron Young team in the second round In 2011 WT Johnston took over. 2011 was the last time Newton lost a district game(EC 39-34) ..the loss had nothing to due with any injuries just got beat. 2013 Shorter got hurt in a game vs EC , Newton won that game 51-21 and later the district title .
  5. Best 3 teams with Monte Barrow as head coach (In order by year) 2017- 11 Games- 8-3 overall, 6-2 in district, Points Allowed-216, Points Scored- 362, Lost to Manvel 2nd Rd. 2018- 12 Games- 10-2 overall, 6-1 in district, Points Allowed- 264, Points Scored- 378, Lost to Marshall 2nd Rd. 2020- 12 Games- 8-4 overall, 6-1 in district, Points Allowed- 283, Points Scored-350, Lost to Ft. Bend Marshall 3rd Rd.
  6. I thought that before I posted my score prediction but OF and EC are vastly two different teams. OF sometimes will start slow before they put up the points but that seems to be the case with EC this year too ex. Buna
  7. I do know the district which will be the Westwood/Fairfield/Teague district. However idk who's in 1st place over there because district just started for them as well.
  8. Nothing this defense has done so far has convinced me they can hold Newton to 35. Scoring 42 on offense against a defense that has only allowed one 4A team to score over 20 will be tough also but we'll see
  9. Do you know the district they have to face in first round as the #1 seed
  10. Huntsville RB is a classmate's son of mines from Coldspring and I see him at times... Boy I wish we would of had him this season.
  11. For some reason, I feel as though this game will be closer than expected. No score prediction, but I do feel like Anahuac can make a game of it.
  12. If it's one team that's definitely going to win their Bi-District round it will be Hardin for sure. After that it gets tough.
  13. We were told that same thing 3 years ago..now that it looks the same every Friday people are figuring it out. These kids were born and raised right here and just always wanted that silver helmet like their dads, uncles and even grandfathers…sure some years you might be a little worse than others but WOS has never been this bad this long,Jasper probably either.
  14. Today
  15. Newton will cruise in this one give me the Eagles 35-20
  16. If woodville stops the run then they win.
  17. 1. West Brook 2. Beaumont United 3. Port Arthur Memorial 4. Angleton 5. Crosby 6. Dayton 7. Huntsville 8. Nederland 9. Hardin-Jefferson 10. LC-M 11. Lumberton 12. Huffman 13. 18. BC with the win in a close game.
  19. East Chambers (4-1 Overall 1-1 District) Football Will Travel To Anahuac (1-5 Overall 1-1 District) On Friday, October 10, 2025 @ 7:30p. What's Your Predictions On This One? East Chambers Comes Into The Game Averaging 25.6 Points Per A Game While Giving Up 19.2 Points Per Game. Anahuac Comes Into The Game Averaging 22.3 Points Per A Game While Giving Up 46.3 Points A Game. Both Teams Are Coming Off Big Loses Last Week And Are Looking To Get Back In The Win Column. Last Week East Chambers Offense : JD Zurby (AKA Slinger) Throw For 115 Yards / 1 Touchdowns While Adding 46 Yards On The Ground. Koby Jones ( AKA Bulldozer) Carried The Ball 8 Times For 37 Yards / 1 Touchdown While Adding 10 Receiving Yards. Darius Edmonson (AKA Bus) Rushed The Ball 2 Times For 4 Yards And 1 Touchdowns. Colby West (Hands) Led The Bucs In Receiving With 2 Catches For 78 Yards and 1 Touchdown. Will (Slinger)(Bulldozer)(Bus)(Hands) And The East Chambers Offense Be Able To Put Together The Run And Pass To Lead The Bucs To A Victory Over The Panthers?? Last Week East Chambers Defense: The East Chambers Defense Was Led By Dalton Dishman (AKA Road Block) 6 Solo Tackles and 4 Assist, Bryce Guillory (AKA Road Runner) 6 Solo Tackles and 4 Assist, Luke Hampton (AKA Speedster) 7 Solo Tackles and 3 Assist. East Chambers Finished With 3 Tackles For Loss Led By Jovanni Gomez (AKA Brick House) 2 TFL, Luke Hampton (AKA Speedster) 1 TFL. Will The EC Defense Be Able To Get Back On Track And Slow Down The Panthers Offense? My Prediction: East Chambers 42 Anahuac Panthers 17
  20. Babin is rarely under pressure bc he is elite at knowing where to go with the ball. His WRs and system are better than Newtons cover men. No one Newton has played had this level of passing attack. look for Woodville to stack the box and let their Corners play man to man. It helps they have multiple long athletic DBs. I like Woodville 42-35. Babin throws for 300 and Woodville D gets a couple stops and a turnover.
  21. 1. West Brook 2. Galveston Ball 3. Port Arthur Memorial 4. Angleton 5. Crosby 6. Dayton 7. Huntsville 8. Nederland 9. Bridge City 10. LC-M 11. Lumberton 12. Huffman 13. Hamshire-Fannett 14. 22. Offense playing well???? Mr. truth forgot to mention the o-line playing with 4 new faces. Jets didn’t do much until the game was in hand. That happens in lots of games. Defense finally getting sacks. Jets haven’t lost every game 50-0. Jets had lost 4 games by a total of 20 points. Do the math. Winless teams need a play here and there and they’re respectable. Flournoy had 6 catches for 114 yards. All receivers would love to have a game like that. Williams rushed for 135 yards on 16 carries and a TD. That’s better than “well”. Thanks for being a “fan”.
  23. State of Texas 2028 La Porte RB Sean Simon‍ 27 carries, 380 yards, 5 touchdowns Folks, let me introduce you to one of the best-looking young running back prospects in the Lone Star State. Simon emerged onto the scene last season when he became one of the featured ball carriers for a La Porte team that went deep into the 5A Division I playoffs. A sturdy kid that shows great contact balance and power, Simon’s output last week vs. Kingwood Park set a school record for most yards in a game. He’s already on the radar of Trooper Taylor and the Aggies, having visited Texas A&M a couple of weeks ago. [Hidden Content] @easttexiasbias
  24. That's obvious, but Jasper shouldn't drop off THIS much.
