  1. Past hour
  2. My friend, we are going to totally disagree!
  3. in the last 50 years Tarkington has had 19 coaches and 3 winning seasons. it's not the coaches, whether hired once or three times.
  4. Did you already forget you brought up X?
  5. Because you didn’t bring up the main point. Which is rehiring losing coaches 2 and 3 times. This tells me they weren’t serious. Hopefully they’ll learn!
  6. You listed some former Tarkington head coaches that were hired with losing records. How do you know they were the most successful coaches from the applicants at the time? How do you not see how what I posted has a lot to do with what you posted?
  7. I can't help that you rely on all things X. There are other sources available. Try them sometimes and stop jacking the thread. The topic is not about X. I will gladly entertain you in a X thread.
  8. What’s this have to do with what I posted?
  9. Same with Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Alex Jones, and Megyn Kelley… all traitors, lol. Tucker Carlson (who wrote speeches for Trump) apologized to his listeners today for endorsing Trump. Trumps newest approval rating (32%) is worse than the rating that Jimmy Carter had right before leaving office (34%) in 1981. Trump’s second term is another disaster for America, just like his last one. And it’s HILARIOUS that everybody but Reagan, Hippy, and Porter have given up trying to defend the stupidity.
  10. [email protected] Tom Halliburton’s Track Volume 38, Number 9 Our Golden Triangle track and field contingent made a pretty good haul at their respective area meets. Some could have done better but most of the higher quality performers advanced to next weekend’s regional championships. It will matter much more to them on the first Saturday in May if they are able to advance again. Getting to regionals is more of an expected achievement for the top-caliber athlete. Getting to our Texas UIL state championships is more the equivalent of being a state champion in most states. Our list of regional qualifiers takes up an excessive amount of space. So we chose to display names and some photos of the young men and women who won gold medals at the area meets. Yours truly could not have showcased these pictures without help from Gary Stelly at KOGT.com, standout Port Arthur photographer Glenn Dennis, and coaches Becca Peveto at LC-M and Renwick Johnson at Beaumont West Brook. Congrats to Peveto’s girls for winning the area team title with 108 points. 5A AREA CHAMPIONS AT LA PORTE GIRLS: Jalexis Neal, PA Memorial, Sophomore 100-meter dash Addelyn Hooper, Port Neches-Groves, Sophomore High jump Ella Mecom, Nederland, Junior 1,600 and 3,200 Meters Tatiyana Crain, PA Memorial, Junior Shot put & Discus Throws BOYS Joe Bowser, Jr., Beaumont West Brook, Junior Discus Throw John Fowler, Beaumont West Brook, Junior 1,600-meter run Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Darrell Granger) 800-meter relay team (Payton Bell, Cam’Ron Roberts, Malcolm McCrea, Brandon Richards) 4A AREA CHAMPIONS AT MADISONVILLE GIRLS: Dinah Tippins, LC-M, Senior 200-meter dash & Long jump Paisley Angelle, LC-M, Senior 100- & 300-meter hurdles Janet Le, LC-M, Senior Pole vault Magadyn Boudoin, Lumberton, Senior Shot put Ali Bourque, Lumberton, Senior 400-meter dash Jaxon Agerton, Orangefield, Sophomore High jump BOYS: Reece Skinner, Bridge City, Junior Pole vault Tyler White, Lumberton, Senior Long jump Shay Stacy, Vidor, Senior 300-meter hurdles Trenton Smith, Lumberton, Junior 3,200-meter run Lincoln Gaulden, LC-M, Sophomore 110-meter hurdles Vidor Pirates (Brandon Granger) 1,600-meter relay team (Zane Williamson, Brodie Ferguson, Shay Stacy, Gavin Cook) 3A AREA CHAMPIONS AT ANAHUAC GIRLS: Hayley Spears, Orangefield, Senior Discus Throw Mikeala Quave, East Chambers, Junior 300-meter hurdles BOYS: Koa Sides, Orangefield, Sophomore Pole vault Jaxon Agerton, Orangefield, Sophomore High jump 2A AREA CHAMPION AT DEWEYVILLE GIRLS: Valeria Estupinan, Sabine Pass, Junior 1,600 and 3,200 Meters TAPPS 5A AREA CHAMPION AT HOUSTON LUTHERAN SOUTH GIRLS: Jerika Roberts, Beaumont Kelly, Senior Shot Put TAPPS 2A AREA CHAMPIONS AT BRYAN ALLEN ACADEMY BOYS: Beaumont Legacy Christian 400 Meter Relay Team UIL REGIONALS MAY 1 & 2 6A & 5A Region III Championships at Challenger Columbia Stadium, Webster FRIDAY: 3200 meters begin at 8:30 a.m.; Morning field events begin at 9 a.m.; Running prelims at 11:30 a.m.; Afternoon field events at 3 and 5A running prelims at 3:30. 11. Today
  12. I think you're assuming that coaches with winning records just inundate all head coaching opportunities with unlimited interest. Big name coaches (or ones with winning records) don't normally apply for this type of job. Are they supposed to just scrap every resume until they get to a winning one? I'd think that most schools try to hire the best candidate of the ones that apply for the job.
  13. The confusion is you trying to draw correlation between AI and X.

  15. It's confusion to you because now the topic is about AI and not the staff member who resigned.
  16. No different than X.
  17. I think you missed the point. AI gets it's information from the internet.....If it searches for "is Santa Clause real" and 90% of the articles it finds says yes, it says yes. AI is only as good as the information it receives.
  18. There's only one that's 100%!
  19. We can only hope 🤞
  20. He hired the best of the best.
  21. 🌊🌊🌊 today they vote.
  22. Why?
  23. Nobody is denying this. Just questioning the reasons.
  24. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] It's in the news not just AI.
  25. Today I’m hanging my hat on Virginia.
  26. NATO is finished.
