    I thought it was a weird call too. I also learned that there has to be control when the hand is coming forward. It was a judgement call and the ones complaining would be silent had Missouri recovered it.

    The best interpretation of this game is it was two good teams who took it down to the wire. Someone had to lose. Anyone trying to make it mean more than that for either team is ignoring a lot of good and bad on both sides. Neither will be favored next week, but both can win.

    I dont think it's disingenuous it's an opinion and a pretty good one considering how Nederland started...I think the opinions were pretty mixed here as to whether Nederland would win or not so I don't see it as overestimating anyone

    I'd say 18 is reasonable. Don't get it twisted, though. It'll be because Silsbee is playing a softer schedule. Also, I'm not sure the football team wins more than one playoff game. This'll be a growing and learning year for the Tigers. People will need to be patient.
