Watched EC vs OF. Honest assessment. EC was not playing smart basketball and looked as if they couldn't keep up with the pace. Making terrible pass that should not have been thrown. Not getting position for rebound. Overall, did not look well polish team. Sorry but that's my take. I want to say that Coach can correct It and make the team peak at right time. Congrats OF on a well-played game/Win.

Warren is 1-4 in district play. One game back of Anahuac (a team they beat) and Kirbyville (a team they lost to) for 4th place. Warren has already played district leaders Orangefield, EC and Buna. Anahuac still has to play EC this week, Kirbyville plays Buna this week and Anahuac and Kirbyville play each other tonight. So one of those teams is going 0-2 this week. I believe Warren will go 2-0 this week. I think Warren will beat Kirbyville second time around.

I hope you are right, but according to maxpreps, they currently sit in 6th place with a 1-4 record... This includes a loss to Kirbyville. Big game tonight against their Wildwood rival in Kountze though.

If Tarkington has any chance of making playoffs, what you are stating has to happen. Otherwise they will be out. It's why I have them missing playoffs this year.

Warren has a good chance at making playoffs in boys basketball this year.

The good news is they are just a couple of years removed from their last 5-win season. Bad news is the program is struggling to win a single game right now. Biggest negative I have to say is that sports (football in particular) are not a priority by the community or administration. They are fine being an Ag school and nothing more. As far as pay - looking online, Warren pays as good as any small school in SE TX. Not sure where these "bad pay" rumors came from. Facilities are OK. Football field needs turf. Outside that, I don't know a lot about where the Warriors stand right now.

As an independent nation, no, they are not. Our “allies” should be willing to listen to anything America has to say about the Golden Dome, especially Canada.
