So the only reason Hj won is because of injuries and track????
That's pathetic!!!
HJ played a great game of baseball last night and I'll tell you a little secret....
HJ also has 2 of their best players injured Padgett and Cooley.
Woodville may have a great team and had an off night last night. I really don't know.
What I do know is the Hawks have had 6 straight victories and 5 of them were on run rules.

Final
HJ.                20
Woodville.      2

For those who wanted the #'s on Duplant,  he pitched 3 complete innings, 32 strikes, and 14 balls, 0 hits, 1HBP.

What happened to Woodville...errors?...walks? Or is HJ that tough?
Woodville has injuries.. HJ didn't look that that great but it was when Kountze scrimmaged them when i saw them
Well eagleswoodville#1, your earlier post didnt reflect any of these last comments, supposedly you didnt agree with HJ being mentioned as a top team in this tourney even after the so called injuries were mentioned. And utfan06, how did Kountze look when yall played us, the score was 1-1 after 4 and it was raining... HJ didnt look that good? Really? I thought Kountze looked great that night... Just my opinion. Woodville has how many kids on their Varsity roster? There were 13 in the dugout last night. Didnt look like "serveral" were out...
first off the soul of the woodville team there 3-4 hole hitters are both out and the other player can only hit because he tore something in his shoulder. Hickman is better than any player on the hj team and so is the indian kid
So HJ didn't win, Woodville just gave the game to them is what I'm reading.  Maybe you could've made that announcement for them before the game so everyone would know that Woodville was the better team, but because of injuries they would have a poor showing.

I guess whoever wins the Tournament will get an asterisk by their name:

Winner*

* Due to Woodville injuries
No that's not what you read. At all. Actually you read me simply lost the injuries. I even admitted that HJ played very well and Woodville played terribly. At no point did I say anything about how Woodville "gave the game to HJ". In fact, that's one of the most ill-conceived thing I think has been said on this thread. There's no doubt it would've been more competitive without the injuries. HJ has a much better team than I originally thought. I admitted that. Take it for what it's worth and stop trying to make what I said into something totally was not.

Did I take this "ill-conceived" statement in bold print out of context?  The sad thing is, you don't even know the "Indian" kid's name. :o smh

The thing is, it looks like I wasn't the only one on this forum that took it that way.  Just sayin' ;)

ok...here we go...who wins this thing...Kountze or HJ? Here is my thought...who ever can hit the ball and least number of errors walks away champ...LOL? Does H J have gas in the bullpen? I know Kountze does...Franklin only threw like 25 pitches today and still have Braden Franklin and Bradley Peters in relief.
Thanks, Aarons final numbers - 7 innings pitched, 11 K's, 4 walks, 0 hits. Good luck Ryder, hope you have a great game tonight!

    • Cohen……a lying, backstabbing pos who does nothing but lie every time he opens his mouth. Let him utter words the prosecution wants to hear, and we can convict. Cohen told his ex advisor that he wanted to kill himself. What a worldly loss that would be. Let anyone on this board be put through the wringer with false charges and lies like Trump has had to endure, and you would be screaming at the top of your lungs how illegal all of this is.
    • It was and remains perfectly timed and choregraphed Kangaroo Court, whatever Cohen just said or lied about.  Face it, under Soros installed Biden and Merrick Garland, the USA is now officially a Bananna Republic with a Goverment that weaponizes itself against and destroys its political rivals. Putin and Xi are SO proud!  Dang I miss Democracy.
    • I haven’t been watching closely, but even the liberal sources even tell the story as “the defense really took apart Cohen’s testimony on Thursday.” It sounds like sloppy work from the prosecution to point out a specific call as being “the one,” when it was easily concluded that this particular call could not have occurred the way that Cohen (and the prosecution) claim it to have happened.    The bad news is that I doubt that it matters much-I suspect that most jurors minds were closed before testimony started.   I don’t see Trump leaving with anything less than a conviction based on the venue (NYC).
    • Tough case all the way around.  The guy had a lot of online activity come out where he made racist statements and statements about killing BLM protesters and looters.  So when he then goes out and does it, it looks really bad.  I've seen a lot of videos where people have driven through protestors, defended themselves against them, etc., and didn't bat an eye.  This feels different, but that doesn't necessarily make it murder, either.  His account of the events that happened vs. the witness accounts were both very different, but I'd also expect both sides' accounts to be self-serving and inaccurate to fit their narrative.  Not really sure what to think on this one.
    • @CardinalBacker   Wanted to get your thoughts on how Cohen did as Bragg's star witness..... My Take: The State spent two days acknowledging that Cohen lied all the time but now he has come clean,,,,,,,it took the defense (having same evidence state had), just a few hours to confirm Cohen lied to the current jury a couple days ago......  While I thought initially Trump would be found guilty due to venue, with best case a hung jury, there is now a pretty good chance he will be acquitted...... Thoughts anyone??   This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up
