[/quote] I feel like if PNG can summon up enough nerve power to at least scrimmage PAM (both scrimmages in which were very physical) I would think a great program like their fellow Mid-County counterparts would at least play a pre-district game versus them. They used to play TJ when i was younger [b]and TJ was 5A[/b] so that excuse is out the window.  ;)

It would make for a great rivalry IMO, way better than PAM vs Central or PAM vs Ozen.

You are starting this again?  Nederland was 5A with TJ in the 80s.  And 4A in the 90s.  Maybe they played a couple of years between when Ned moved down and TJ moved down , but that was it.

[/quote] TJ was still 5A til 1998. Like i stated, the "because were 5A excuse" out the window. I say drop Goose Creek Memorial and PAM drop Ozen and lets get it on that week.  8)

Those were great scrimmages. The 2009 scrimmage had the atmosphere of a game. Our stands full with the band there, the Memorial side mostly full... they may as have sold tickets.

There will come a time when PN-G and Memorial will play each other in a real game. It just won't be this year.

Bama, I wouldn't count my bets yet....Nederland strong for the next 2 years and as I always point out, defense is huge obstacle for Png......you know, you don't win when you score 50 points, if you can't keep your opponent from scoring more.

Im thinking we can win with 50 points....and I'm thinking in 2014 we will be just fine. Nederland should work on their defense...You know you cant win if you cant stop your opponent from scoring 50...or maybe they should work on offense.
