I hate to break it to sc but gt had better coaching and better talent. The qb from gt is legit and will be playing big time ball on saturdays.

Georgetown's QB was a beast! I cant believe there aren't any big name schools looking at him. I wouldn't say SC was outcoached, just outplayed. Through and through Georgetown was the superior team, don't take anything away from coach Ford and company.
No, they were out coached.  Coach Ford has a history of being out coached as an OC, and a history of relying heavily on talent.

Coach ford will need a reincarnation of the 2003 NS team to win him a title.  But then again, any coach with that level of talent could win a title in their sleep.
I 100% agree! There will never be a team like that 2003 NS team, one of the only HS teams that could turn it on or off whenever THEY wanted to and still win. Special team that was.

NS 03 was loaded. Bobby Reid was a beast in high school.

That team was beyond loaded.  That team looked and played like a D2 College football team.  They were disgusting.

I was at Turner when they thrashed a very talented Humble team.  That year we had a total of 6 or 7 kids that would sign LOI for D1 universities before their time at Humble was done.    Not to mention our Offensive line was MASSIVE...two kids over 6'5 300lbs, and i think the average weight was 280.    It should of been a game......and it wasn't.

That was a sick sick football team

I was definitely lucky to have seen them.    I was in middle school when the 85' Yates team tore it up, but i never did get to see them.

I will admit that there were a few questionable calls that he made yesterday, but for the most part SC was playing SC football. What I didn't understand is why open the game full force with some kind of empty backfield air raid when GTown's D was primed and ready to defend against the pass. I know SC isn't that great running the ball, but why not get the O-line physical early to keep GTown's D-line off balance when they do throw the ball. Heck it worked in the opening drive of the second half, why not play out of the I until they prove they can beat it. Ok nevermind SC got outcoached, lol.

SC is great running the ball, I think Keevon is one of the greatest backs to come through SC short football history....we just haven't had much push from the Oline all season....but yesterday we were able to run on them, and it should have been mixed pretty good

But....it doesn't matter, I still feel the defense wasn't gonna stop them. We literally handed them 2 Tds from defensive mistakes...

Missed tackles on the screen play. that is all... Not really, lol Georgetown's offense was just a little more than they could handle

One in the end zone when LB tried to pick up ball and run it...then WR wide open, he stopped to catch a ball at his foot and still ran it in....

No reason to hate SC.  Ive coached most of those boys in little league.  I have just watched alot of HS football, and i have a firm grasp on what you can expect from your head coach.  I also know a little bit about what plagues our kids in Humble ISD when it comes to playoff early exits.    SC is a very athletic team, and that convinced enough of you they were good enough to go toe to toe with the rest of the state.... Well its not.  ive seen teams with far more talent do far less, so you have that going for you.  i have also seen teams with far less talent go alot further then yall did.    Its not a matter of speed, or athleticism.  Its a matter of an entirety of a program.

SC is good enough to beat any true 4A team.  GTown running their 5A team this year is wrong.
This is logically deficient.  You are a sore loser, and i know GT is going to lose....and its only going to further confuse you on how Texas HS football works.

GT beat you because they were better coached.  period.  in the playoffs, you have to be more then just a bunch of athletes....and that is all SC was.
I was there and I'd have to agree, also GT ran their OF with precise execution, same OF just better at running it. Did not go for the bomb over the top, just threw underneath to small scat recievers all day long. You can't stop that kind of OF rushing 3 down linemen all game with no pressure on the QB.
