Not to mention our Offensive line was MASSIVE...two kids over 6'5 300lbs, and i think the average weight was 280. It should of been a game......and it wasn't. What I didn't understand is why open the game full force with some kind of empty backfield air raid when GTown's D was primed and ready to defend against the pass. I know SC isn't that great running the ball, but why not get the O-line physical early to keep GTown's D-line off balance when they do throw the ball. Heck it worked in the opening drive of the second half, why not play out of the I until they prove they can beat it. Ok nevermind SC got outcoached, lol. Not really, lol Georgetown's offense was just a little more than they could handle[/quote]One in the end zone when LB tried to pick up ball and run it...then WR wide open, he stopped to catch a ball at his foot and still ran it in.... I have just watched alot of HS football, and i have a firm grasp on what you can expect from your head coach. I also know a little bit about what plagues our kids in Humble ISD when it comes to playoff early exits. SC is a very athletic team, and that convinced enough of you they were good enough to go toe to toe with the rest of the state.... Well its not. ive seen teams with far more talent do far less, so you have that going for you. i have also seen teams with far less talent go alot further then yall did. Did not go for the bomb over the top, just threw underneath to small scat recievers all day long. You can't stop that kind of OF rushing 3 down linemen all game with no pressure on the QB.
