yes the old forest brook and smiley combined. I have read somewhere that the coach come in and kicked a bunch of kids off the team because of attitudes and work out habits. They other kids supported the coach and now everyone on the team wants to be there and works for it too.

Actually they've made the playoffs b4 out of 19-4A. They lost to Central in the second round a few years ago when Central went to the fourth round of the playoffs.

[/quote]hard to imagine but it did happen. Bh missed the playoffs 07 and 08. Smiley won the game on the last play of the game with a hook and ladder.

North Forest (as mentioned combined schools) are always loaded with athletic potential.  Coaching, facilities, parenting, etc...... are huge hurdles.  They are much like an Ozen team, potential if they get strong leadership and put it all together.
