Lamar University has extended the contract of head football coach Ray Woodard thru 2014 (2 year extension). He is 12-17 thru last win.

According to Lamar U AD Jason Henderson, "roll over from the previous years contract it basically adds 2 years from this year"

Having a lame duck coach after a couple of years sure is working out great for Georgia State!  This basically gives Woodard and his new coaching staff a few years to win.
