Great job Eagles, keep it going.

Good luck Warren in the rest of district play.

With Newtons talent they should have won by 70+.  Warren to their credit did play a keep away game, and played it pretty well.  Newton had way to many turnovers, struggled with extra points and field goals. Their QB is the real deal, but they need some work to go where they could and should go.  The Warriors played with great heart and are to be commended. Warren's QB did a good job as well. Saw good sportmanship among  both teams "players".

Agreed that Newton needs to continue to work. Warren played with great heart, but was over matched from the get go. Newton was sloppy with the ball, but could have scored 70+ had the kids wanted to. Don't take Newton's attitude towards Warren as what they will bring later. Good luck Warriors the rest of the year.

Can tell right away that you are the ultimate team and school supporter.  Should have lost by 70+ to the other team's talent pool.  What makes you think that Newton could not have scored 70 had they wanted to just be a___ (censored)?

With less than 45 seconds left and the ball they drove and scored again.  I am not faulting them, but just saying!

With your expertise please tell me how many of those players on that drive were starters and what plays they were running compared to the rest of the game. You cannot ask any player to not give a 110% at any time on the field. Warren was playing hard, but Newton's collective team spirit was not geared to beating the Warriors senseless or it could easily have been over 100 scored. Build on what the Warriors have started, but stay based in reality. Just my opinion. :)
