Could you guys give us some helpful parking information please for finding a place to park for the game?  Last time was congested and took a really long time to get in/out from the game.

Take a cab
Agreed!! ;D  Only other suggestion; if you have the pull, ride in on one of the band buses or go early on the players' bus.

Get there as early as possible or you will run into the same situation as last time.

Get there early enough to get a parking spot and then park close to the road. I would say that 5:30PM might get you a decent spot. Then leave right after the 4th quarter starts and beat the majority if the crowd out.

That is about only way to get in and out of that stadium in a timely manner.

Yeah, no matter how you go you will get stuck in it.  However, I would avoid Main Street.  You can stay on I-10 and take the the exit to HWY 90 (right after the Vidor exit) stay on the feeder.  Cross over the tracks and take a right on 90.  When you get to the blinking red light, take a left (only way you can go).  Go all the way down to the stop sign which is Orange Street.  Take a right and go about 1/2 mile and you will be right in front of the school.

If the purpose of going to the game is to beat the traffic problem, then you should leave early, coming and going.

We always park in the front of the school facing the street on the front row.  It is a nice walk to the visitor side but much easier to get out that way.  Also arriving early if you can will help.

If someones purpose in going to this game is to beat traffic....they should probably sit home and watch the delayed broadcast.

And if you follow the directions I gave above, that's exactly where it will put you.  ;)  Easier to get in and out that way.

I will have to remember that for my INDIAN friends when we play there.  I will not be in attendance this year since I wasn't one of the fortunate ones to get a ticket and I didn't take off work.  So I will stay at home in the comfort of my patio with a nice cold beverage and listen to the game with my honey.

Parking for the Vidor/PNG game will be even worse because that's our homecoming game. Also, tickets to that game will be on sale at the field house that Thursday and Friday morning.

Yeah I know all that but my husband and I both work and since we have no kids in HS it isn't a deal breaker that we have to be at all away games. I hate that I am going to miss it but I will survive.

One way to get to the school is go past Vidor's main street  exit, and take the next exit. It will take you to a four way stop and cross the railroad tracks. Once across the RR tracks take a right, go to first street and take a left (sargent street). Go all the way down and take a right ,which is Orange street and that will take you to the highschool.(leave the same way and its alot easier to get to I-10.

Park in front of school. But when you leave go opposite of main street and go down about 3 roads take a left and you will see I-10. real easy to get on from there.

Yep, it really is a bad situation when it comes to parking.  Back when the school was built nobody had cars so there wasnt much concern for parking. Just kidding.  With all the homes in the area, there really isnt a nice, close place to park.  Get your walkin shoes on for this one.  The earlier posts about taking the highway 90 way in are right on the money to beat some of the traffic.  Stay off of Main Street.  There is a huge bottleneck at the tracks and turning onto Orange Street coming from that direction.  And it never fails that there will be trains coming through every 30 minutes making it even worse.  Im leaving my house at 5:30 and I live in Vidor.  I would rather sit in the stands sipping on a cold drink than cussing traffic.

Going through Bridge City could be faster taking 1442 to 105 turn rt at the red light on Orange st and a couple of blocks down is the stadium on the rt hand side. Be carefull of 105 there is a sharp curve and no street lights at night. I think this will be a easier drive and less traffic congestion. Plus no 18 wheelers trying to squash you into the barriers on I10
