Regional Quarterfinals - Jasper vs. China Spring

Recommended Posts

If you are going to this series, and you have never been to Fireman's Park, you are in for a real treat.  This is truly one of best venues to play at.  Think Wrigley Field or Fenway Park of HS.  It's an old historic park, with an awesome look.  Also, the playing surface is second to none.  A couple of helpful tips...  Park far away, cuz foul balls will beat cars up all game long.  Fireman's Park seats a lot of people, but part of the historic feel is wooden bleachers, so if that bothers you, bring a stadium seat.  Also expect to hear a couple train horns during the game, cuz there is a train track just yards from the home dugout. (city just passed a noise ordinance, but they still use the horn some times) Good luck to both teams.

Yes, Wynn pitched in relief in the first game.  Walked in Jasper's winning run.  Then the coach moved him back to first.  Didn't pitch in the second game.

Interesting.  I knew they said it was a lefty who came in.  Wonder who the dogs will pitch today.  My guess is that Mixon goes back with his ace.

Yes, but who is the "ace" right now?  Actually, the freshman for Jasper looked mighty tough last night.  He got into a jam against Madisonville, but last night he was bringing smoke!

I would think Bolton, but I am not sure.

Yes, Bolton is THE MAN.  But the freshman is the face of the future for Jasper.  He seems to bring more smoke than Jasper has had for awhile.

    • He screwed himself when he started blowing up planes, government buildings and killing judges.  Becoming a politician is not what did him in. And the DEA was a big part of what ended his reign and it had nothing to do with politics, wasn't swaying the conversation at all, just pointing out facts.
    • I still can't believe SETX Lamar and SFA thought they would ever fit in the WAC. The logistics are incredibly bad. Couldn't they see that?
    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is a tragic day for America. The guilty verdict issued hours ago against former President Donald Trump is a clear abuse of our justice system. This politically motivated and stacked trial is what we have come to expect in communist China or North Korea—not in the United States of America.   The totalitarian impulse of the neo-Marxist Left is to suppress and silence political opposition using any means necessary.    But here’s what we must understand: What just happened is not only about Donald Trump, and it will not stop with him.   The Left is not only waging legal warfare against Donald Trump. They are attempting to prevent half the country from having any say in the governance of our nation, and they have weaponized the legal system to ensure their success at any cost.    They are already using our legal system to go after pro-life activists and patriotic Christians who defend religious liberty. The Deep State is spying on conservative parents and churches, treating them like enemies of the state. They have even gone so far as to compare caring parents to terrorists.    The Left has repeatedly contested that conservatives are a threat to our democracy. Yet, they are the ones who are aggressively attacking our Constitutional Republic with blatant disregard for our fundamental rights. We cannot remain silent against such explicit tyranny.   Today's verdict is a clarion call for every God-fearing, America-loving Christian and our fellow citizens who believe in faith, family, and freedom to run, walk, or crawl, if necessary, to the polls this November. • Yup. Made our ISD get turf which I appreciate. 😁   But 2011 was better though.
