Paris beat them by 1 point, 70-69, in overtime in district play. PG beat Paris by 3, 47-44, the second time around in district.

AAW you were pretty much spot on.  You posted during the Sherman Tournament that Silsbee and HJ would each beat TPG by 20-25 points.  Good call!!!!

Was told that Silsbee coasted the 4th quarter, called the dogs off and played the bench. Score was 53-32 at end of 3rd, but just out scored PG in the 4th 14-11. Didn't want to risk any starters in that 4th quarter with 20 point lead.

Silsbee held PG's '6"8 post in check the whole game.

Good warm up game for the Tigers. Now on to the playoffs and Splendora.

[/quote]Good warm up game for Tigers... not so good warm up game for Pleasant Grove.  I'm curious if they were expecting this kind of a beat down.  Surely they didn't, because who would schedule a game like this when you want some kind of momentum going into the play-offs.
