Not sure it was better coverage or defensive line getting in that butt. Maybe a little bit of both. I am tellin y'all, Huffman D aint no joke. Offense gets it into gear they are going to be tough! Saw a little bit of that Friday night. Looked more crisp and only threw one pick. Went down field, which was nice to see. Cant wait another 6 days for Liberty.

Liberty vs HUffman will Determine alot next week  even being the first week
Yes it will. It would be nice to see Huffman move the ball tonight against HF. COMEON DISTRICT. Looking forward to Liberty!
If Smith is on HF could give Huffman some problems.
Completions          Attempts        Percentage      Yards          TDs        INTs
34                            69                  49.28                  502              5            2

He leads 21-3A in passing and if Huffman covers like they did against K Park, I could see HF putting up some points.
HF-35
Huffman-31

Yeah you clearly know what you are talking about ::)

Huffman 41- HF 10

Technically, the stats were correct so it wasn't a matter of him not knowing what he was talking about. Maybe Huffman covered better than they did against K Park, because in that case this would be an accurate statement. Congrats to Huffman on the win, Liberty vs Huffman is going to be a great game next week.

Stats might of been correct, but the prediction was way off.

This could get interesting.Coldspring (4-0) is a shoe in for the top spot,I dont think anyone with any kind of brain would doubt this.
Most everyone thinks its gonna be Liberty(4-0) and Huffman(3-1) fighting or the second spot,we'll see next week.Meanwhile Cleveland (3-1)is sitting back and looking like they also have a shot at the second spot. Its been a while since we've seen this district go into district play with this kind of competitiveness. Cant beat South East Texas high school football!!!! Gotta love it !!!

Now that is a better response. Yes, Huffman's offense when rolling can be dangerous, but the fact that you are letting out a sigh of relief at the fact that Townley only threw 1 interception is not a good sign. Liberty's Daniel Fitzwater has only thrown 1 interception all year. And it came with 3 seconds left in the 2nd quarter on a bomb ( and from where I was sitting the defender looked out of bounds so it should not have counted) and that game turned out to be a 42-7 victory for the Panthers. The Huffman defense isn't a joke, you are right about that, K Park only started to pull away when they began to air it out, good thing the Panthers have a Quarterback who can do just that. This should be a very good game Friday night.

Please show me where I said anything about letting out a sigh of relief about only having 1 pic, because im pretty sure I never said anything like that. Everyone knew going into the season the Huffman O would be inexperienced, and would struggle early. I haven't really been that worried about it yet, because I knew the longer they played and the more Townley got used to the players and this offence things would get better. Besides why should I be worried when so far we have beaten the teams we should of and lost to the team we should of lost to.

You didn't, the way that Bambam33 said he ONLY threw 1 pick, makes it seem like he said that with a sigh of relief. And I can remember you saying that exact thing at the beginning of the season, but to most of the other Huffman fans, you were all saying Townley was a DOG and he was going to come in and do some major work, and that Gray was going to set it off as well, but look at Fitz and Antoine against the bad teams they put up crazy numbers like they should of, Gray and Townley barely even put up descent numbers against terrible teams.

Please please highlight my negative post about Liberty? Liberty has proven themselves at 4-0. Liberty played good against Porter. OMG everything I have ever said about Liberty has been complimentary. Now fact is, they have not face a D like Huffman. TOWNLY WAS A DOG? Have not seen that one either. Townly is making strides to becoming a nice QB!

If only putting up big stats actually counted for something in the record book. Huffman got the Ws that is all that matters. Stats don't mean crap. Besides didn't I just get done saying people knew the offence was gonna struggle early in the season? Try to pay attention I don't like to repeat my self.

I know what YOU said, I understand YOU believed the would struggle but I SAID that the other fans never thought the offense would struggle and they didn't. Go read some older post they all argued how good Townley was and how he was going to roll early on.

Liberty vs HUffman will Determine alot next week  even being the first week
Yes it will. It would be nice to see Huffman move the ball tonight against HF. COMEON DISTRICT. Looking forward to Liberty!
If Smith is on HF could give Huffman some problems.
Completions          Attempts        Percentage      Yards          TDs        INTs
34                            69                  49.28                  502              5            2

He leads 21-3A in passing and if Huffman covers like they did against K Park, I could see HF putting up some points.
HF-35
Huffman-31
Yeah you clearly know what you are talking about ::)

Huffman 41- HF 10

Smith 7-23 99 yards 1 td 2 pics.
Well since there are not many Huffman fans ( and haven't been many liberty fans until yall started jumping on the bandwagon this season) on here I remember what most of them say, but who knows maybe I missed something. Since you have made that statement and remember what was said could you go find the post and re post it.

The fact that your the only one arguing against it shows that the ones who said it know they said it and are keeping quiet. I can name a good 8 Liberty fans who have been here over the years. Now I will agree that our neighbors in Dayton have been showing some love as of late, which is not " hopping on the bandwaggon" it's simply wishing us good luck just as we have wished them good luck every year. And I can name maybe 4 more who started supporting last season and only about 2 or 3 that have just now started supporting, this isn't the NFL, you rep where you live it's not bandwaggoning if you didn't have an account and heard about the website recently and decided to try it out.
Ok, i had another account but lost the information so i made this one, don't recall the username and as I've said before to another random from huffman... just because people didn't have setxsports accounts last year or last month doesn't make the person a "fickle fan" as the last idiot said (another thread) and it doesn't make them a "bandwaggon"(<~ Bandwagon spelled the wrong way) fan for supporting the school that they graduated from or team in the city that they live in(sorry i havent been arguing with the elderly about highschool sports for years now)...my name will be seen again and again supporting Liberty while being realistic... you wont catch me calling teams/players "terrible" "garbage" saying they "suck" or any of that bs like that others do on here either, just talk about football, who you think is better and just chill out with all the other rhetoric, its pretty irrelevant and makes people look sad.

I wasn't calling you a fickle fan, you were just one of yhe names I haven't recognized. I just think it is kinda of intesting that there have only been a hand full of liberty fans on here and even they didnt post that much, and then liberty has a decent season and there are a ton of liberty fans here now.  its like clockwork now you get a new liberty fan on here for awhile then he gets banned and the a new comes along and the same thing happens.

i agree.. IMO it'll be
1. coldspring
2. liberty
3. cleveland

Take Liberty out. What a joke! This just proves everything that has been said all along. Where were the 7 on 7 guys? What about all of the players we lost? Huffman is a superior program to Liberty. Huffman has more talent from 7th to 12th. End of debate.
