New to HS track, is there an 'order of events' they usually follow?
[/quote]

Field events rotation - depends on the meet
HIGH JUMP
LONG JUMP
TRIPLE JUMP
POLE VAULT
SHOT PUT
DISCUS

Order of Events
Running Events Girls then Boys
3200-meter run
400-meter relay
800-meter run
100/110-meter hurdles
100-meter dash
800-meter relay
400-meter dash
300-meter hurdles
200-meter dash
1600-meter run
1600-meter relay

The nederland meet is a little different because they are running a Distance Medley relay early in the day. That's the only notable change though..... that and the 3200s are run an hour before the rest of the running events start.
