Hopefully our young guys stay the course. The thing with "youngsters" and rankings is that they sometimes have the tendency to let their ranking "go to their head". Let's finish the season strong!

Yes, I agree that kids can let rankings go to their heads. Especially so in small towns like Pineland and Kountze. I have a feeling that it won't happen in Pineland this year however, because I think we got something special in the works!

Wow! Looks like I've struck a nerve! Didn't mean to start anything, just writing about what I have observed.

Don't know what you are talking about.   The boys that had [b]moved[/b] to Pineland from Brookeland, were not able to play last year([b]their Senior Year[/b]) because the new coach at the time from Brookeland did not sign for them. Thus they didn't play varsity sports last year, their senior year. This years team all went to school last year in Pineland, most all their lives. Don't think that the coach from Pineland will be buying the Brookeland coach anything other than a ticket to watch them break the scoreboard against the Wildcats next Tuesday night!!  Welcome to our district!!
