I go with the 5 rings.  LM moves on to the regional finals....
Yea I'll take Notre Dame over Oregon too....gotta go with the rings....
Last ND ring was '88.  I'm willing to bet LM has won one or 2 in the last 5 years......

Hmmm...La Marque hasn't made the playoffs since 2007....They did win it all in '06 and have had 2 new coaches since.  If they're going to be "back" it's going to be another year or two.

I hope that Q4 is due to back ups.

Yes it is. Also has to do with Stewart showing respect and not running it up.

I believe the senior group of Broncos actually played LaMarque in junior high during their 7th grade year.  The result...  A DOMINATING PONY SWEEP!  LaMarque's five championship rings will have absolutely no bearing on this game.  None of the current LaMarque players were even in high school when the last ring was one.  What does matter is the current three years in a row of Dayton making it to at least the quarterfinals.  More players on the Broncos knows what it takes come playoff time.  If any advantage of playoff experience is factored into the game, it goes to the Broncos.

It doesnt matter what you did your last game much less years ago ??? The only thing that matters is "ALWAYS BELIEVE"!!!!!!!!!! Atleast thats what I heard coming from some guys car at Sonic ;D ;D
Wait till you see the commercial this week!!!!  Should be done tonight!!!  About to go put up pictures at Jack in the Box!  WAY TO GO BRONCOS!!!

Some of the coaches have been on here and confirmed that it is Tully Stadium @ 2:00 pm Sat.

Galena Park was the preliminary site agreed upon in case they couldn't get a mid-day game site.

Tully is a great place to play!

Yep it is but it's the Bass Pro Shop nearby and Christmas not far away that scares my plastics ;D ;D

You could always hop back on the beltway and take it south.  The opened a nice new Bass Pro Shops before you get to the Pearland exit.

I apologize to my LM comrades in 24-4A, but I think LM is toast here. LM has no discipline, their best RB is probably out for rest of year, and their coach is on the hot seat. I know that Dayton is always talented and disciplined, they historically get better as year goes on. LM can only go so far on athletic talent, the upset of El Campo was the exception, not the rule for their year.
Dayton 42--- LM 21.

Wright with not to much of a drop off- looks like you use multiple backs in your offensive scheme .

Uhmmm, I wouldn't fully agree with that but Alridge (7.7 yds avg.) is a tough little scamper back with wheels who could have developed much more had he been given the reps. needed to do so. Most of the other backs can play the position but they are larger backs who come in primarily for blocking reasons. T. Wright is the complete package with better than average speed, good vision, ability to cut on a dime and size to run over and through tackles if need be. We do have others that don't typically play that position like Gasway who was a State finalist in the 100m last year could play a role if need be. Only problem there is the experience factor so who really knows?

    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
    • See why I don't trust my Hogs?
    • Come on dude, don’t take anything away from the kids on the field. If you want to talk uncharacteristic, we made what 3 or 4 errors in game one. Y’all had 2 EARNED runs.  Defense is normally our strong suit. Your ace didn’t strike out a single one of our kids. Like I said also, you did not out hit us in game 1. Hell you barley out hit us in game 2. We had all the uncharacteristic walks. Josh pitched a hell of a game is what made that game what it was.
