PN-G Area's Hottest Team

KFDM COOP

Recommended Posts

"The Nederland game was the turning point in our season," said senior quarterback Brennan Doty. "Even though it was a negative turning point, we turned it into a positive. Coach Faircloth got us together after the game and told us we were capable of winning the rest of our games, and that's what we did."

I don't think I have ever seen a coach that can motivate a team like Brandon Faircloth.  He not only teaches the guys "skills" to win a game  and be successful, but also, how to "win" in the game of life!

Thanks, Coach Faircloth!  You''re an inspiration to all of us!

Not to disrespect the accomplishments of the Indians as they were able to restart a ship that had gone dead in the water and Coach Faircloth and the Indians should be proud of their accomplishments, but there IS another team in the area that has a five game winning streak.

thats true but does that team bring the fans and money PN-G does....that why they get so much publicity
Well, I would imagine that KOGT, KFDM and the Orange Leader all agree that the WEST ORANGE-STARK MUSTANGS can draw pretty well!  And as far as the hottest team in the area aside from Kirbyville, don't make me pull out the numbers!

I thought it just said hottest team........not the team that fills the stands........

This is why they play the games gentlemen.........otherwise we could just give the title to PNG on fan support at the start of every season and go straight to Basketball. BH is on a winning streak as well, but we all have been shown it was against far inferior opponents of which PNG would beat on the average 134 to 6 and bring 60K to each game as well.

And let me repeat, my response was not meant to be a slam on the Indians, because after reporting the PNG loss of Mid-County Madness to a Nederland team that was in, well, disarray, I really expected nothing more than maybe a couple of more wins.  What they have done since then is nothing short of miraculous!

However, for Mr. Henry to be inaccurate in his information deserved some notice.....although since September 17th of this year, I've not had a whole lot of confidence in the varacity of Enterprise reports.

Mr. Thomas personally invited Coach Faircloth to play at Da Butch....what do you think he saw...$$$$$
My understanding is that Coach Woodard did the same with Coach Hooks with regard to Provost Umphrey....I guess he saw the same thing.

PNG sounds like Aggy always screaming we won halftime.

If PNG played, lets say Houston Yates at Reliant........Yates sells 2,000 tickets and Png sells 20,000........Yates wins 35 - 10.........does the crowd make you feel better or would you rather have a few fans but the win. You guys do travel well.....I am not at all knocking that but your teams in the 70's won because they were badasses....not because your fans outnumbered the opponents fans.

I love high school football and I support BH because my son attends there. I just do not live and die with what happens every Friday night
Scoooter,  it's not really that hard to sell out a stadium that prolly seats 2500 total!  (just guessing here)
