Texas Thunder 97 (12u) takes first place in Future Stars Over Texas tourney

Texas Thunder 97 went 7-1 to win the Future Stars Over Texas tourney this past weekend. The girls hit well and played solid defense, just one game we couldnt get anything going. We are very proud of these girls for their effort, and for the way each one of them made a contribution to their team. Keep up the hard work girls its paying off!

Thanks for the positive replies towards our girls. We have a great group of coaches, players,parents, and fans in the Golden Triangle area. We are proud to be a part of this softball community! By the way what did everyone think about the bee swarm this weekend at Ford Park? Good thinking by Ronnie and staff to move the last games to another complex for the kids safety. I wonder how hard it would be to pitch or bat in a bee keeper suit.    ;D
