  6. We hit the ball very well all weekend and played solid defense.  Our pitching was also good, with both pitchers healthy for a change. Congrats to Breelyn Thames for two back to back home runs over center field, that makes three for this Spring. Also congrats to Kennedy Cline for going yard in Deer Park last month, we are very proud of these young ladies. Keep up the hard work!!!!
  7. Congrats to Young Guns 97 for finishing 2nd out of 16 teams in the Stars Over Texas Tournament. This was our first double E tournament to compete in since forming this new team. We still have a long way to go, but what a start! We are very happy with the way the girls stayed focused and came from behind to win several games. Also congrats to Young Guns (Gautreaux) for finishing in the top 4 in 16u. Good job Crush 97 and Shockers 99 for your finishes as well. What a great weekend of softball. Go Guns!!!!
  8. Looks like an impressive list of heavy hitters. Good luck to the Thunder girls. This should be yall's year!
  9. Great job girls, Houston Power is  one of the top teams in Houston in the 16u age group. This just proves that our local teams can compete with ,and even beat the top teams in Houston. It just requires hard work and dedication. Congratulations Young Guns 96!!!!!!
  10. I met Sport with LA Heat this year through one of our local players. She plays full time for with us now, but picks up with the Heat when we are not playing. The LA Heat bunch always puts on a top notch tournament, with good food and great competition. We played in Baton Rouge several weeks ago and had a blast. Its always fun to play teams you have never played before.
  11. Thanks for the positive replies towards our girls. We have a great group of coaches, players, parents, and fans in the Golden Triangle area. We are proud to be a part of this softball community! By the way what did everyone think about the bee swarm this weekend at Ford Park? Good thinking by Ronnie and staff to move the last games to another complex for the kids safety. I wonder how hard it would be to pitch or bat in a bee keeper suit.    ;D
  12. Texas Thunder 97 went 7-1 to win the Future Stars Over Texas tourney this past weekend. The girls hit well and played solid defense, just one game we couldnt get anything going. We are very proud of these girls for their effort, and for the way each one of them made a contribution to their team. Keep up the hard work girls its paying off!
  13. Great tournament Shockers. The field crew was top notch and the food was good. Looking forward to Stars Over Texas this weekend. See yall there.
  14. Texas Thunder 97 took 1st place in the 14u division in the Full Throttle USFA tourn. this past weekend in Westlake La. Our kids pounded the ball all weekend from 1 thru 9. We are very proud of our girls for stepping it up. Also congrats to Asha Howard of Thunder 98 for taking one out of the park over left field this weekend. Not bad for an eleven year old!!!!!
  15. Congratulations girls on a great weekend. Way to step it up and make it happen, keep up the hard work!
  16. Great job ladies on a well deserved championship win! It was great to watch the girls give their all, and never give up. Great effort from both teams. And by the way, the girls look good in purple and gold. Keep up the hard work.

  19. She pitched two innings Saturday and it started hurting her again but nothing serious, she ended up toughing it out. We are going to take a few days off to let her heal up. Seams like there is always something to slow you down. Thanks for asking about her, and we hope to see Maci back on the mound soon.
  20. First of all we would like to thank every one for their support, and making our tournament a huge success. And thank GOD for the best weather this spring.Hats off to OOC 99 and GT Shockers 99 for their performances in the 10u championship game, what a battle. When the dust settled the Shockers came out on top after 5 innings of ITB. We were very proud of the effort from both teams. Texas Thunder 97 managed to take first in 12u after 2 hard fought battles with the always tough LA Extreme, great job girls. As of now Young Guns and Crush Collins are batteling it out for the championship for 14u.
