1.
Is this a new team or a team coming up under a new name and is filling spots?  Are all spots available and the girls will have to compete for the positions or are positions already taken?  Just would like to know what to expect before I bring (If I bring depending on the answer) my daughter to the tryouts.  Other parents are interested also.
I am glad I asked this question above.  OMG.  All of this behind a team?  Who cares?  If your daughter did not get chosen you have two choices.  1. Work hard and try out for another team.  2. If you feel so strongly that the team in question is Daddy ball be glad she is not on the team.  Move on.  Quit crying.  There are enough teams to go around.  Like Dottie said go to another tryout.  Stop bashing.  Why are you teaching your child sour grapes?  Teach them how to take defeat and learn from it.  Not roll around in it.
 2. I am Me Thanks for the food for thought.  That makes sense.
 3. It sounds like the girls are not being considered.  That instead of doing what is best for the girls, egos are in the way.  If this team is as good as you say it is then shame on whoever is busting them up for their own personal reasons.  Sometimes the best thing for your daughter is not you.  It's a hard pill to swallow, but you have to let go and let someone else coach your daughter.  I know that there is only so much that I can teach my daughter.  I can only take her so far.  People need to look at the big picture beyond 12 U and not right now and "make sure little suzy plays in the best spot."  When suzy gets into high school more than likely she won't play that spot you put her in all these years of your coaching.  (When I say "you" it is a general blanket "you" and not meant for anyone in particular).  That is not helping that child and is not allowing her to go to the next level.  Your going to hurt not help her game by holding on and not allowing her that growth she needs.
