Going undefeated in district makes it tough not to win a few votes.  Shepherd had a good season.  Just missed the playoffs or he might gotten more consideration.

Going undefeated in district makes it tough not to win a few votes.  Shepherd had a good season.  Just missed the playoffs or he might gotten more consideration.

Yeah I know, but with Shepherd only winning 2 games in the past 3 years and now going 5-5 or 6-4 (because Magnolia West had to forfiet win) and being known as a talentless town as even the old coaches said we had no talent before they left. I just think he accomplished so much more with so much less than say Cleveland or Coldspring.

Probably b/c Coach Jones doesnt make a lot of friends when he's at places.

Dude, Shepherd beat Liberty, Tarkington, and Splendora, he's not getting coach of the year for that.  I agree they did much better than in the past but be realistic!
