1. Haha I'm a fan of 223A like everyone else! Besides huffman's got an old coach of mine!
 2. 21-20 Liberty wins and Huffman fanboys spends next week talking about how horrible Jasper is...
 3. And as far as Bellard is concerned...it makes sense. He coached at Bryan with Deel... [Hidden Content]
 4. I'm trying my best to remember who the previous DC was.... I could have sworn that Deal was doing three jobs..DC HC & AD...Am I right or WRONG AGAIN? :)
 5. Sadler is an outstanding coach. He could have got our whole team to run thru a brick wall if he wanted to. (well, into it at least.) we all looked up to him.
 6. I still think Josh Sadler is the BEST possible replacement. I don't think he would make a good AD but he would make an excellent HC. I thought for sure that he was in a good position after Stewart left. I heard he turned it down..then I heard he was never even considered.
 7. Envy! hahahaha Every morning I wake up and thank God I'm not an Eagle! haha
 8. This thread got stupid about 2 pages ago. The previous pages were just dumb. This thread is dead. Nobody post anything else about 22-3a because nobody in Liberty county is smart enough to have a real debate.
 9. Oh come on, we all know how All-District voting works...Its all about who won district, whose daddy is who, and who wants what job later on.... I'm suprised Slack is back at Liberty. That is just plain shocking. He coached at the middle school when I was there. Actually, his first year was my 8th grade year if I remember correctly. Anyways, he was a great coach. I learned a lot from him. He  is the kind of coach Liberty needs at a middle school. He would be a good QB coach or RB coach at a HS as well. I liked Coach Stewart a little bit more than Deel. Deel has turned mulitiple programs around from 0 win seasons. That being said, every school he has been at has had a lot more talent than Liberty. Liberty hasn't a lot of talent. If any of you remember the 04 05 06 teams, you remember that they has a little talent and a whole lot of work ethic and that still only got them to the 1st rounds of playoffs (that being said, at the time 21-3a was a powerhouse.) Deel has his work cut out for him...
 10. There were reasons why Slack left Liberty....those are the same reasons he won't be back.
 11. I really wish all of you from Liberty would cool it. It's just a forum. Besides, why argue about facts? Every year the same people trash each other on here and every year Liberty players talk so much mess theyre worn out by the time the season starts. Get off the computer and get in the weight room...
 12. I say we just let them play the game. I hate to sound like a broken record but I think it needs to be said, What happened last year really doesnt reflect all that well on the outcomes of this year's games. Huffman lost many players. Liberty is building on a good offense. I'm not sure why totaling up points for the last three years really matters....I remember back when Liberty v Barbers Hill was still a big rivalry game. Almost every year people would get on here and swear up and down that BH was going to kick the dog mess out of us but usually it was a close game and the wins went back and forth for years...I see the same thing with Huffman and Liberty...
 13. This year will be different than any year I've seen in this district. You have, in my opinion, a totally different district as far as the top three teams go. You have Huffman that will be good. If I remember correctly, in 2009 Huffman had to replace a lot of their offense with young players. Yet, they played well imo. Coldspring will always do well in this district due to their speed at skill positions and their size on the line. To me Liberty has the most  positive points right now. They have many skill players back and hopefully they can build on the success of the end of last season. Liberty once out played and out coached teams but maybe those coaches are all on to bigger and better things...idk. 1. Liberty or Coldspring (whoever wins out of this game probably wins the district, but I could see Liberty losing to Huffman. I cant see Coldspring losing to Huffman) 2. Huffman 3. this could be Liberty or huffman ( I doubt anyone else jumps into the mix at third)
 14.
IDk if you could call Anthony Chambers a runningback or not because he lined up under center but he was a great runner. I believe he had a short stint in the NFL but i could be wrong, i know he played at purdue
He didnt quite make it to the NFL but he did play at Purdue University. He holds the record for the longest kickoff return or punt return there. (cant remember which one.) He also played in the AFL. He played for the Shrevport-Boosier City arena team for a couple years. I'm not sure if he still does or not. (were friends on facebook though ;D )
 15. 22-3A? I do think so. Im going to get mine in now because it wont last long... ;D
 16. I've got two pet peaves... 1. people slidding eating untinsiles against their teeth. 2. people that talk/act/want to be from...cry baby hill choke city. NO, I didnt read the whole thread..I just wanted it to be known that Barbers Hill is full of people that think they all hung the moon, will one day hang the moon, or know someone else from BH that did in fact, hang the moon.
 17.

He did have 4 touchdowns - but none receiving just running and the kickoff return.
When I posted about Earl having 4 touchdowns I looked up the old newspaper article (I admit...I am bored).  He had 1 KO return, 2 rec (23 and 28 yds), and 1 rushing...according to the paper.
This is odd. Either way Liberty lost 60-0..
 18.
was not shut down AT ALL. but did have a 5'4 soph. gaurding him. i forget his name but he was a hardnosed football player
I honestly don't remember him having more than 3 or 4 catches..although, he might have had a few rushing TD's. I know for sure the kickoff return.

And, I played for Deel for my senior year..anyways..youre telling me that no player that played under him before this year was "worth mentioning"? I highly disagree. The corner that shutdown Earl Thomas YOUR senior year was a graduate of the class of 2009 not 06. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Facts are facts. And I'm having a hard time believing you even played football for Stewart, Salder, or Peters with a mouth like this.
Who shut down Thomas in '06?? lol. He was a running back, not wide reciever. And I dont think there was any shutdown.
He definetly played WR that game.....

 21. This guy shouldn't be on the forum. He is making a fool of himself, telling others to commit suicide, creating a bad name for the residents of Liberty and making a mockery of Liberty football. I'm all for him being banned.

AKA ones that are in tune with reality not players or class mates trying to make themselves seem better than they are?
This other guy is out of his mind. Liberty is a .500 team playing in a mediocre district. I support them but I know they cant beat WO-S. They are bigger faster and stronger.
Thats the smartest thing that I have ever heard you say playa. Congrats you are growing up and learning, have some karma.
yayayyaayayya ;D
