I didnt see the game, nor have I watched either team play this year. But, I can say with much confidence that Coldspring, as long as I played against them..in any sport..is very..."physical" after the whistle. I remember a scrimmage that I got kicked out of because of a fight that broke out between our teams. They always played us kinda dirty...But, a win is a win in my book. I hope they represent our district well in the first round and get the W

Ya, I know what strategy is. You run to make the top ten. But...if youre in the top 3 or 4, depending on how close of a race, I say you run to win tha damn thing.

Wow. Ya, if they ran at Liberty then thats a totally different story..but I havn't even seen any 223a times so..anyways I completely agree I think it was more a competetion issue. These guys run in the heat everyday..as a runner I hate blaming the weather.

[/quote] For starters..I'm not even sure the district meet was at Liberty....was it? Or was it at Chain-o-Lakes?? If it was at Liberty..yes..much faster course..if it was at Chain-o-Lakes, like it usually is..then no. That is the slowest course I've ever run.

Well, actually. Its legal in Texas. But this guy is from Georgia and its not legal to lead with the klet of the shoe in the upwards direction. Thats why there was a flag.

Ya the course that 22-3a usually runs on is very...um..challenging. Not a course for speed really. I ran 19's on that course and finished no better than 12th or 13th there. I'm just really suprised to see all of BC's team do that poorly. It could be the course..or lack of competition.

Is that a 5K course? That seems a little slow for top ten times? I'm not dogging any runners here..I'm just a little confused. I thought BC was faster than that as a whole/

I obviously wouldn't go that far with it hum-babe. But, I will say that there are usually a few players on the 2-8 3-7 4-6 teams that could have started on the playoff teams..reserving spots though...thats horse shit. Thats like those little league teams up north that dont even keep score. Thats crap. I think the awards should go to the best players. Weither they play on the best teams or not.

Whats sad Trojanfan is that they might all make it too. I remember a few years back, Liberty had a cornerback that covered Earl Thomas in the first round of the playoffs..Earl Thomas was thrown to about 8 times that game..didnt catch one pass. That corner played Varsity for 3 years and also played QB his senior year..yet he got honorable mention...I thought that was crazy, until our coach explained how "voting" works at these meetings.

Since someone kinda brought it up I'll go ahead and speak my mind...I seriously hate the theory that the majority of All District picks have to come from the district winning team...politics suck. O and ya...Tarkington's Punter=Greatness

Mr. Douglas would be a wonderful addition to the coaching staff...and when I say addition I mean head coaching spot...keep Deel..make him defensive corridinator...its a win win...
