Looking at the pics of Galveston on Channel 6, looks like those people should

have left yesterday.  Hope that most did.  The 6 crew doing a great job.  My

two TV were tuned in all day yesterday, last night, today and as long as I have

juice and receiption, they will stay.

Good Luck guys.

Coop, thank you for all you do for us on here. You have kept us informed continuously even while you were also doing your other job ;)

Thanks to you, We were packed and out the door 20 min. after they called the evac. so we had no trouble getting out of town.

Thanks again :)

Everyone stay safe, get out if you can, and may God watch over each and everyone of us and our families!

I am in Bay St. Louis, MS (an area hit hard by rita AND recently the surge is about 8 feet.)  A constant 30 mile per hour wind has been blowing since yesterday....  this one is going to be bad news for the lower areas of the texas coast.  It is flooding here and it is pretty high elevation wise.

STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

My daughter (Indianette) got a pic this morning from a friend of Pt Neches park and it showed the water already beginning to cover the parking lot.  Does anyone else have pics or can give any info of whats going on in Pt. Neches/Groves?
