Longview head coach John King confirmed the Lobos will play Class 4A's Barbers Hill on September 12th and that completes their ten-game schedule.

The Lobos will play the game at either a neutral site or at Barbers Hill.

Longview's schedule has a quirky Week 10 bye, so this took awhile.

Week 0, Allen

Week 1, Tyler Lee

Week 2, Barbers Hill

Week 3, Lufkin

Week 4, Texas High

Week 5, Sulphur Springs

Week 6, Mount Pleasant

Week 7, Marshall

Week 8, Hallsville

Week 9, Pine Tree

Week 10, Bye

Dang!  Dayton playing a Mexican team?  Ooooook..... And BH playing Longview just sounds a little far fetched.  I dont' know.

It's Happening!! Man Lonview is loaded and just dropped from 5A.

OK, here's the deal...Longview will play Barbers Hill in week 2. Dayton was going to play Longview but Dayton wanted a 1 year deal. Dayton will play a team from Mexico on a 1 year deal....Details Thursday Morning!!

Holy moly, Barbers Hill is in for a rude awakening.  Longview was "THE" powerhouse of east Texas in 5A last year.  Their enrollment just barely put them in 4A.  They have one of the biggest, fastest and strongest rushing offenses in Texas.  They beat 2 nationally ranked teams last year in #9 Lufkin and #2 John Curtis from New Orleans.  Here is Longview's schedule from last year

Ok y'all gotta give me some info on this team.

I've never even heard of em, and I know that sounds bad...but o well. haha.

Good Luck to any of their fans on here. Hopefully it'll be a neutral site game, don't really want to travel 4 hours. SFA would be nice.

Man what was the Hill Coach thinking? Lawd.

If this is the case good for Coach Price once again for stepping up to the plate. He has never backed down and you guys will see a very good football team play. Being from Marshall nothing like the Lobos rolling into town. Good for Coach Price.  ;D

Hats off to BH for stepping up...unlike John Tyler.  :o
