No word on what this means for the future of the UIL State football championships. In 2025, Victory+ signed a five-year deal to be the exclusive broadcast for the event in a deal brokered by the UIL's marketing arm, Dave Campbell's Texas Football.

Making any type of agreement with a broadcaster has to be unsettling even after signed. So much technology and other factors causing things to come and go so quick over the past few years. Glad to not be in the position of those folks at the UIL. They will likely get ripped by people for making the deal, but as much as we all love Texas high school sports from a broadcast perspective it can't be a massive money maker.  Finding a great and stable provider is likely extremely difficult. Who knows...

Bring back Fox sports southwest/bailey sports/ now I think it’s called FanDuel Sports Network

Give them a few more cameras, a good broadcaster director for the cameras, and just let the kids at NDN Press take over all the state championship games.

Use Facebook live like most people do already. It's illegal btw.

No actually DCTF has a YouTube channel that would be perfect for student broadcast. Zero ads allowed. They shouldn't be able to make profits off the students and athletes. Nobody pays kids so why should we pay per view. Our taxes already support schools statewide. Name one that doesnt take state funds.
