The answer is simple. A culture change and good coaches. Neumann did it and he had several good assistants like pate and Spell. It is obvious that the dogs do not have a whole lot of talent, but you can overcome that through hard work and having football since. Those things can be taught. When you have a ton of penalties and are known around the area as playing dirty you want win many games. Also, you have to teach how to have success after several losing seasons. PNG doesn’t seem to have a problem with that. Why, because they hired a coach that believes in defense 1st and he has very good assistant coaches. Unfortunately Nederland does not!

So where is this talent that just gave up 33 points. If they had a little talent they would not have given up 33 points. So again if they have talent why are they play so poorly?

Because a team allowed 33 points that means they have no talent?

I could go on.

It's pretty asinine to think that a team has no talent because they gave up 33 points in a football game. Particularly to a team that has a pretty good offense.

This was what turned things around here. Khelvy would still be running for 2k yards while we gave up...

Only gave up 40+ 8x in previous 45 seasons btw. Im not being negative. Stating facts. Point is the staff can change philosophy and find traditional ways of winning again.

Bashing "talentless" kids is worse than hating on coaches. It's not all about the "dudes" and they shouldn't be subject to that filth.

Nederland needs to run #2 more.i thought they gave WB a gift in this win.they should've not put #10 back in the game.the kid was hurt.if they had left #2 in I really do believe nederland would have won this  game.they we're at WB 30 with 3minutes to go and WB had 2 time outs left.
