La Porte High School with an 'A' (90/100). La Porte ISD overall with another strong 'B'. (86/100). LPISD is Open Enrollment.

(Didn't keep Shadow Creek from poaching our D1 Edge, and--was informed from a reliable source--attempting to get Sean Simon. I will obviously be rooting against the Sharks this year. Somehow, South Houston's DL Xavier Muhammad--blue chip Michigan commit--also found his way to Shadow Creek.)

Should the UIL require open enrollment schools to play sports in the highest classification?  The private schools who elect to play in the UIL are required to play in the highest classification.  Hous

Just because they have open enrollment does not mean a player can play the first year he arrives. Still has to follow UIL transfer guidelines the same as if it were closed enrollment.
