Sure doesn't take you long to make your Trump connection. It doesn’t matter to me what she says. It was those lying polls that had her up by double digits. Anything to hide the fact that she’s a terrible candidate. Can’t say that about Trump. He got your vote twice. Now if she would get her tail back to St. Louis. What happened to her First Amendment rights? She should be able to say what she wants for anyone who’ll hire her. You assume correctly.

Green & Menefee have a runoff in May. Not a Dem voter, but it looks like Menefee has the energy & the more progressive movement behind him while Green has the donors, history & seniority on committees. Not sure what Green has really done in all his years though. He’s just been the default incumbent for seems like forever.

Menefee has all the crypto backers behind his campaign.

I have 1st amendment rights. Nobody is sticking a mic in my face. I’m sure that makes some people happy. Same goes for me. Let’s make sure we understand the first amendment, it just means you can’t be jailed by the government for saying certain things, but not all things

Hopefully the party is moving forward by bringing younger leaders forward. Talarico is 35, Meneffee is 37. These people have new perspectives and new ideas. From what I see of young leaders coming out of the Republican Party, MAGA is doing their thinking for them, and MAGA doesn’t represent the entire Republican Party. Politics swings like the pendulum do

I think Talarico has a shot to turn that Senate seat blue, especially if the Rep candidate is Paxton.  The RGV, Coastal Bend area, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and DFW may be the path to beat the old money in Midland-Odessa.  As Reagan says, we will see.  As mentioned above, the youth movement in Texas politics is here.  Red-to-Purple-to-Blue.
