AD wants to keep him but school board does not want him at the head baseball coach.

They may have made a huge mistake.  Like I said, Foreman wasn't impressed with the current talent and even tried to get the person who transferred out back multiple times.  I hear Foreman's son can run and will be coming so that will be good for the team.  

Let's talk about what's good for all of the boys.  I haven't heard of Foreman going walk the halls and supporting administration yet.  Also heard head basketball coach wants out.  Let's see if Foreman will only be focused on football or will do good by all of the sports.  He's aligning himself with some questionable people in the community already.

He wasn’t “impressed with the talent” for good reason. The 2027 class is horrible beyond all belief. He will need to weather the storm this coming year and try to get the foundation in place to build from in the future.

Yall act like he's a 1st year coach from a rival school. He'll have multiple programs in the playoffs soon.

Who said anything about coaching ability? Pretty certain the post was regarding “talent level”. He may very well have “several programs in the playoffs” in the future. 2026 football will not be one of them.

I also heard head basketball was wanting to leave.

Toby should do whatever he can to keep that coach. He is a good one.

Hopefully everything works out. Head coach has to believe in his guys to have a chance though. I assumed he might have looked into all that before he took the job. Maybe not

He did. Jasper situation is no secret. Sometimes coaches take jobs based upon future projections and not what is immediately possible.

Maybe so. I wouldn't be able to tell if he's supposedly said he was "surprised" though

That being said Foreman has already said that he was surprised with not having more talented players (he thought this was the Jasper he played against and was quickly shown it wasn't). 

Foreman has an easy preseason lined up compared to Crumedy.  Foreman has been allowed to fire some coaches Crumedy was told he couldn't fire as well as Foreman has been allowed to hire retirees which Crumedy was told he could not do (the district has to pay the state). 

I want to have a great season but am not sold on Foreman.  There is a reason all of SETX passed him up.

As stated I am a fan of Crumedy but not him nor his wife.  Back to football and the direction of this team.  The season is coming up.

I did see that there is a camp (like a combine) being hosted for the football players and that is exciting.

I’m inviting all Jasper Parents, Alumni, and Community to come out to Jasper Football’s first College Day which will be held on Tuesday May 12, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Bulldog Stadium. My staff and I have held this event for the past 15 years in May at both Beaumont Central and Killeen Shoemaker l, and it is very similar to a pro day for a college prospect or a collegiate camp held by the universities. We have 8 college staffs who have already confirmed their attendance. My staff and I both share the same common goal which is to promote our outstanding student athletes in every possible way.
