A lot more than three states make shooting people a crime. $50k bond, there might be more to how much of an “incident” this situation is. Particularly if alcohol is involved.

Culpable states not talking about a us state.but a state of mine.see Texas penal code. The point is that it is a crime.

Read on another site... shooting a video with obvious loaded gun (stupid and immature to say the least) gun went off, shot through a wall and hit young man in the neck. No slap on the wrist should be given, some of these comments thinking it was intentional or "death row" played a factor are ignorant as can be!! If this was anywhere else a different tune would be played.. there's my 2 cents

Culpable mental state, defining the mental  state, intentional, knowing, or reckless. Tx penal code.

How’s the kid who was hurt?

I own lots of guns and none of them have ever “gone off”. None of us knows where the blame lies, but it always seems to be the gun’s fault.

Now, having cleared that up, I hope the young man who was shot fully recovers.

Me also.  I can put a gun on the table for a year and it will never just jump up and shoot/kill somebody!  Man, there goes that common sense again!!

Yeah, anywhere else where a player shoots another player it would be a “different tune”.

FYI, If it were most places, kids would not be shooting each other.

Yeah cool story, glad you agree this was a accident... 👍🏾

I'll leave the spotlight on victim, where it should be.. not "death row" and other tags that outsiders don't agree with or like.. certain the community doesn't care about anything negative from ppl outside....

Well, people will have their opinions, like it or not. Not sure how some consider themselves on the “inside”. For me, I’m still interested in that gun that goes off by itself. Was there a recall?

Understood. Putting the "spotlight" on the offender raises uncomfortable questions. What do you suppose the shooter was actually "doing" when the gun went off?

From close ties to the situation, being stupid and filming a video with a loaded gun! Seems many on here want this to be a "on purpose" situation... offender is damn good to shoot through the wall and hit the neck of victim... C'mon man SMH

Classify "many".

No one has said that this young man picked up a gun, shot through a wall, and intentionally shot the other young man. That’s simply your spin. The problem is….guns don’t go off by themselves. If no one is held accountable, then anyone can pick up a gun, shoot anyone they want, and simply say they were playing around and the gun accidentally went off…..which is impossible. Someone pulled a trigger. What if the young man died? What if it was your kid? You‘d sing a “different tune”.

6 members speaking more on "death row" and the gun than they have the victim

I actually see 4 members that maybe are implying some kind of intent.

13 different members (not counting me) commented on this thread.

I think for the most part folks know there was no intent. Pure reckless behavior which in some cases bring criminal charges.

Kid was being stupid but like I said, that may not absolve him from some kind of fault and maybe a criminal charge.

There has been many situations that have criminal negligence.

I don't think any charges will be filed.

Prayers for all that are involved.

Mark me down as someone who is stating very clearly that they were mimicking the imagery of what is portrayed by artists on Death Row Records. You have also specifically stated that the kids were mimicking the imagery by shooting a “video with guns”. Like videos by artists on “Death Row Records”.

NOT A SINGLE PERSON said anything about the shooting being INTENTIONAL.

Pretty sure that charges are already filed and included $50k bond.
