BBfan061 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Pulling for PNG but if we are being realistic they have a tough one this week… SOC by 21 Quote
Setx fan Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago It's almost like these 2 are guaranteed to meet in the playoffs every year now. I like SOC but I think PNG will get em this year. Go Indians! Lamar1996 and NDNWarrior 2 Quote

I’ve only seen a few clips and they were all sideways passes Just curious. Thanks Quote

I feel like PNG’s defense is “stellar” right now as someone stated in a previous post. SOC also has a stellar defense as well. This game will definitely be a defensive battle. I still feel PNG will come away with the win. Scalp ‘em! Lamar1996 1 Quote

bd04 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I hate it but i’m afraid it’s going to be a long night for PNG. SOC by 30. CS. and cal81 1 1 Quote
spidersal Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago PNG has been very good under Joseph and staff. I am definitely pulling for them. I just think losing Bailey is going to hurt and the 2nd RB getting hurt vs Heritage will hurt. In order to win IMO, the receivers are going to have to do a much better job catching the ball than they did vs Heritage CS. and cal81 2 Quote
png9mon Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I feel PNG will have enough offense to move the ball. No mistakes can be made by the Indian Offense, i.e. turnovers. PNG Defense will play at a stellar level. I am looking forward to seeing this match-up this week. 🏈 NDNWarrior 1 Quote

cal81 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I guess some people's memory is foggy. PN-G was beating SOC by double digits in the first half of 2022 and lost by 10. Then PN-G beats them the next year for the state championship. Last year's game obviously didn't go PN-G's way but that's why they play the game. PN-G has as good a chance of beating South Oak as anybody in this bracket. Including Richmond Randall. They beat them last year just like the Indians have. Let's play it on the field and find out. FearTheSpear Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago PNG has to make this game ugly. DO NOT get into a track meet or that’s a wrap. Ball control, milk the clock, capitalize on possessions with tds, and force a couple turnovers. Make this a two hour game with limited possessions. You’ve gotta beat SOC mentally before you can beat them. Keep it close, weather the early storm, punch em back in the mouth. They’ll make mistakes. Quote
Eazy Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Certainly if PNG can do those things, they have a chance. I can see this being a one score game. I can also see SOC by 28. Every game is different, so we’ll see what happens. Quote

FrodoNDN Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Teams to remember play in December! SOC is gonna be what they are big and bad, but you never know. Go PNG! Quote
tc332 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I like PNG but I don't see them getting pass SOC just to be honest. As much as I would like to see them win. SOC by 2 touchdowns or more. Hope I'm wrong. Quote

The current qb wasn't bad at all if any of a fall off in my opinion Quote

Thanks vs North Shore QB was 12/17 120 yards 3 TDs vs Duncanville QB was 11/22 208 yards 1 TD vs Longview QB was 12/20 175 yards 1 TD The numbers are good (better than last year for sure), but its just the eye test, SOC and this QB look much more comfortable throwing it...better chemistry w/the WRs from playing 7on7 this year and it just looks like a competent passing game....now they haven't needed it in 2+ months and if PNG is able to make SOC throw maybe it looks bad....but I'm not betting on it CS. 1 Quote

spidersal Posted 40 minutes ago Report Posted 40 minutes ago Yes, the young QB is pretty good, just doesn’t have Bailey’s experience Quote
