You have no idea as you were not present with the kid throughout the journey and have no idea what factors were in play. It is very bold and arrogant to say that you know better than a child's parent.

And even more ridiculous to say you know more than this kid's parent who is well experienced coach intimately acquainted with every detail pertaining to his own kid.
