Overall team played great!!! However, the secondary is horrible. They got beat on every deep ball. Thank god BH receivers dropped them. Don’t know the answer for that. I guess keep applying pressure to force a qb to make mistakes or sacked. I don’t think we will see a team with a good o line, qb, and wr’s till the 2nd-3rd assuming. Legacy was the only team they played that showed and exploited our weakness

Born and Raised in Mont Belvieu.  I have watched most of the Eagles games over the last 30 years.  I can remember the losing seasons from Craig McGallion, the turn around under Don Price to Gage to Westerberg to Abseck to today with Cody Simper.  This was my Homecoming and my 25th reunion… There were a lot us excited to see this group get it back together tonight.  As a former class president, I cannot sit back and watch this happen to my beloved Eagles.  
 

I really hope that Coach Simper and his merry band of misfits didn’t purchase a house.  My hope is that they rented because it will make their moves at the end of the season much easier.  Someone should have warned them.  Ole Greg is not going to take too kindly to all this losing.

3rd straight week we've played in a Homecoming game (including our own), 3rd straight week without allowing a TD and pretty much put B-T-A on the opponent from start to finish.

At my Former Class Presidents Homecoming Meeting they said that it is a knee injury and that he is done for the season.  Rushed him back too early and worsened his injury from a previous game.  #45 is done for the year too.

PAM is obviously playing good football, however, their opponents have a combined record of 21-25.  Other than Hightower, they haven’t played a decent team. It’s likely PAM may not see a worthy opponent until the second round of playoffs.

You've  been cos playing as a memorial fan for years now.  Sad thing is, you can't see that several of the sacks/qb pressures were coverage sacks.  But if I needed a high chair to see the game, I would miss alignments, plays, adjustments too.  Are year long it was BH this and Lufkin that.  Mostly BH so just put your BH shirt on and eat all those wrong ass opinions about football.  You don't know the game and you can't see.

Fat out of shape roid  rager wanna talk about somebody height after losing 10 lbs then he’s the poster child for ozempic…. Any way Mr I don’t go to all the games vs I do and to remind u my cousin is the qb. Now I’m speaking of the passes that was thrown with Barrier setting his feet and throwing down field. That the only part of the defense or overall performance that didn’t look good. And as far as me being wrong, hey donkey lips, I’m glad I was wrong… during the preseason I said 2 games that could be losses were  BH due to the past years ALL the games were close. Amante playing qb with unknown or not highly talented wr’s was also a factor.I was being realistic unlike your slow minded self. As far as lufkin goes, well they are lufkin with a history and we never beat them. Again an educated guess. Oh yeah don’t act like u loved the titans the whole time. Mr. The offense is wearing skirts, you also coach bashed  Colbert. U talked about fans, so ninja have a seat. I show up and drive to every game but one. I support the kids. I have emails from school officials I can gladly post cause of my involvement. I don’t need to brag about the love of my city and the team I support. The school my daughter is a freshman at and loves, proving the critics and under cover roaches on this site that memorial is a great school with her making all A’s and one B, which I’m gladly to post her report card. Support your city and team instead of jumping on other teams nu… bal… ummm bandwagons. All u talk about is other teams hoping they go far so u can claim them. I did it with two teams. Not the titans and every winning program in the state.

This is an example of people in that 3rd reading group having opinions.  

To put my previous critisisms(sp) to rest, once KRH and nem got the Titans to the 5th round in '11, I had to STFU.  And I did.  You can call me donkey lips but I don't watch games from a high chair garden gnome.  Anyway, go cheer for the Injuns and Eagles.  Let them pet you on the head for being a good boy, etc.  Titans and PAISD don't need those smile in your face types.  Of course, you being a half man, you're smiling at their belt buckles.......

You still haven't addressed your fetish for BH.  Your lack of understanding schemes and changes but again, it's hard to see when one has to sit on 8 Houston phone books to get a good look

Now again, on to WB and I hope when PA builds the new stadium, they will build a couple of high chairs so they don't discriminate against half people......

He was never "all world". Poor kid was hyped to the skies as an 8th grader at 3A Hardin mostly by his family. I saw his mom literally scurry up to Todd Dodge at AT&T and gush about him while he was a freshman at Anahuac, while Todd nodded kindly and almost missed the elevator he was waiting on to let her finish talking. Some poster here said back then he could start at North Shore QB as a Freshman... and the hype never ended.

As a FR at Anahuac he did OK, but they won only one playoff game. Soph at 4A Rusk he did nothing, 4th place and blown out first round. As a JR at Anahuac he was injured but gamely played on, and Anahuac ended up 5th. If you can't elevate a 3A or 4A team, no one in their right mind would expect he was going to excel in 5A-I, except those closest to him. 

NONE of this is his fault. He is just a good kid wanting to play ball, put in unfortunate situations by others. I feel bad for him. Its now too late in some respects. I hope the public will not vent on him. Let him finish out HS career in peace. NONE of this is his fault. JM2C.
