But I am sure they were all relieved of their duties for justified reasons…

Not the same Baytown team.  Someone will steal him in the off-season. Remind of old school football when the best player touch the ball 30 times, now with the spread the final whistle blows an somehow our best player has only 9 touches. 

Not all on Coaches either.  The QB takes his eyes down to early.  Poor tackling and leverage.

As someone who coached at Baytown Sterling for the majority of years from 2007 until 2018, the stories I could tell you about a the incompetence of the Gccisd administration including head principals ( not all of them) ( not the current AD or asst AD because they are real men and leaders) congratulations to the current team and coaches!!!!!! 
when Herb Minyard was fired, I was warned by one of the best athletic directors in the state ( a great man and friend since 92) that TA was being hired just to up his retirement and he’s going to hurt the team and what little of a program momentum that Herb built by leading the team with OCRich Lucero now in either Hutto or another Austin area team.  I told the AD i knew how bad he was but I always felt obligated to help my young athletes so I refuse in to leave so I could protect them. Follow my substack as I will publish the information next week. There is no charge as my mother taught me to just speak the truth. If you wanna send me a personal message, I’ll let you know personally. But there soon to be an investigation against the head Cheese of that district some of his assistant superintendent and some former coaches because when you harm kids charges need to be brought.. oh yeah, they had no problem with destroying my last 15 years of coaching. Some knew what was going on, but I was the only one that fought it and continued to turn it in because I believe in Leviticus where it says if man around you sins and you do nothing, then you harbor his sin. I am not a fan of the Yeshua, I am a follower of Yeshua. There’s a big difference.
enjoy the football as I’m on my way to Friendswood to watch Crosby I’mma do some video in a former players that’s going to be put on a Substack. But everything comes out in the wash and there’s a lot of evil in GCCISD that will be exposed. But that athletic Director – – the current one and the assistant ID they are awesome – – and the new set of coaches – – congratulations I got tears in my eyes because so many of the great Sterling kids when I was there – – and there were some great ones. We just miss manage them, and I am a part of it because I was an assistant coach to these idiot, head coaches and coordinators. It’s all gonna come out the wash.

I don’t know Sterling teams from the past.  But they seem to be a decent team. I know BH under performed but you have to give Sterling some credit.  Had a game plan and executed it.
