Recommended Posts

It's really AWEsome to see what a winning highschool football program can do for community pride in Texas.

Enjoy all of this for what it is worth Lumberton!

This is really great for your community.

Above all the little ones in elementary will not forget these magical weeks.

This years success will impact Lumberton ISD for a long time in the future.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!

Keep the L-Train going!!!

We in Dayton are all behind you (for at least 29 more hours)  ;)

THANKS! We really appreciate your support and encouragement - this has been incredible for our town and  although there is a lot of talk about a "rematch" next week, we (Lumberton) have nothing but great things to say about Dayton! Good Luck to you tomorrow night, we know you'll represent our district well!!!

Yes - being sent to [email protected]  IT WAS AWESOME! The Football Players Float was a HUGH TRAIN!!  ;)

[move]WE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THOSE RAIDERS!![/move]

Well SHAME on KFDM!!!! They had plenty of notice about the parade, and they didn't send anyone out! They got scooped!! Their competitors were up close and personal!  ;)

I actually filmed the entire parade. There were 34 floats this year! What a wonderful turnout!!

Thanks, L-Town!!

hi ladyraider,i believe, just as in christ, blessed are those who believe, and have not seen.s.e.texans prove again we can unite as neighbors pull together after destruction  from rita, and show the world, even in high school sports we are still the best place on the planet to raise our children to become responsible young adults, show compassion for less fortunate, with the will to suceed, and be proud.

Tonight, The Lumberton Parade was lead by TWO REAL LOCOMOTIVES with a HUGH LIGHTED sign that read:

[glow=red,2,300]"L-TRAIN - REFUSE TO LOSE[/glow]"  The train blew his horn the entire parade route followed by THE MIGHTY RAIDERS!!

Wonder if Deer Park will let us drag that into the stadium tonight?!?!?!

    • So buddy is the OC and AD and you have a head football coach interesting
    • FBC transfer most likely will. He’s already been on several recruiting visits and has been looking decent on the camp circuit for only being a freshman. I don’t think his family will let him sit past this year though.   JV kid is decent but he’s not really anybody I think you want to rely on competing against good teams with. He has some moxie but he’s smallish and doesn’t have a lot of arm talent. I think he would stay and be a backup no matter what or switch positions if the FBC kid stays.
    • Oh an institution can move away from God, and the USA is running away from God.  I am not trying to chase you off - this is a free site.  I just wish people would be more open to alternative view points.  The devil wants to sow division.  Nice to hear you admit that God is love.  I generally try to stay off this side of the site - would much rather talk baseball and small town sports.
    • I guess you heard wrong? All of the sophomore studs he grew up with are on varsity and several played great in the Spring game, 4/5 will start and the others are in the two deep. Only kid I heard about going to Dayton is the receiver that left to go to North Shore and he hasn’t even been playing football. Leaving was what he felt was best for his kid, sometimes you have to make those choices. My son would’ve left last year too if he could’ve gotten eligible, doesn’t mean I would’ve liked Crosby less.
    • It’s always funny to me when present day republicans start talking about what 19th century republicans did, because you’re absolutely right.  Point it out and they get mad, though.  And I vote Republican 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
