"Lmc" has more playoff appearances and wins than vidor does winning seasons. "Mecca" šŸ˜

Maybe Mecca does maybe Mecca doesnā€™tā€¦Iā€™m not a high school football historian and honestly I could care less cause those seasons having absolutely nothing to do with the present season. Ā Keep living there if that makes you sleep better at night. And good luck tonight

Recruits, transfers, and returning starters. So you want to compare a college team that has the best or some of the best kids in the country to a Lcm??Ā

i think the main idea is they have preseason rankings even in HS which in *most cases* indicate how the year is going to go which should answer your question on past seasons have bearings on current.

Ā The past is usually a indication of the future. Have you not been keeping up why WOS fans are embarrassed by losing to certain teams? Ā Its because in the past they have dominated them. Theres teams that you shouldn't lose to. Lumberton has a decent team this year but i Ā do not think they are a top 10 team in the state. What school did you attend?Ā

What you think now? Ā Lumberton a top 10 teamā€¦ or has LCM just not as good as you thought? Ā

Honestly LCM isnt good. Ive known that when they played HJ. We lost to much last year to over come this. I thought the football gods would have came down and helped us but the ball went the other way. I guess you cant always be on top. Lumberton does have a good team. Saying that i could see them in the top 10. Ā Kilgore and Chill will have big and strong kids and will be very athletic. Id like to see Ā how they get around them. I dont see them going 5 or 6 rounds. Stephenville and China spring and a few others are really good. They also recruit lol

Lumberton should be disqualified as any contestants for the distraction of LCMā€™s field and press box and the students involved should be prosecuted as adults and program put on probate for several years

Well do you think LCM should be disqualified since now we know that the student is from LCM?Ā

    • Will probably be released by the Democrats come September. Ā Sound familiar?
    • Sure.Ā  You reassign an employee and they leave voluntarily instead of being fired and being open to litigation.Ā  The outcome is the same, but you are making my point.Ā  The superintendent and AD and principal are all empowered to make personnel decisions.Ā  Instead of accepting the decision made, you talk about lawyering up, no one else was reprimanded, railroad job.Ā  I am old enough to remember when high school sports taught life lessons...accountability being chief among them.
    • I know absolutely nothing about the situation, but I do know head coaches of sports other than the AD have actual teaching assignments, and I know from my wife having worked in the sped department of multiple schools that itā€™s not uncommon at all for coaches to shirk those duties. Ā It could very well be that this was the case at BC. Ā Or not, I donā€™t know. Ā Just bringing this up to point out the fact that, although many coaches only want to worry about coaching, they generally have several other responsibilities at the school. Ā some of them neglect or ignore these duties entirely. Ā If heā€™s been written up for other issues before, itā€™s a dumb argument to say ā€œhe was punished for this and others were notā€. Ā If he had a pile of write ups in his file and they did not then it makes sense that the punishments were different. Ā
    • He wasnā€™t fired, he was reassigned and people get reassigned all the time. If he was actually fired, then you would have a point, but he wasnā€™t fired. Based on the information presented here no way this would stand if they fired him and he lawyered up.Ā
    • I heard the assistant was going to get this job and assume it was referring to the old Vidor coach, Nate Smith.Ā  I always thought he did more with less at Vidor and can't help but think he shares some responsibility in Vidor's recent success.Ā
