    The Rebels will take on the Mumford Mustangs in bi-district action. They will play a double-header in Montgomery on Friday, with the first game starting at 5.  Game 3, if needed, will be at Mumford on Saturday at 3.

    The Mustangs are the 3rd place team in District 26-2A.  They went into Monday as the #1 seed, but lost 2 games on Monday to Burton & Iola.  They are 10-3 overall, and 10-3 in district.  They returned all nine starters from last seasons team, with one of their players being a THSBCA all-state selection.  

    The winner of this series will get the winner of Shiner / Rosebudd -Lott.  That round will be played sometime before the May 13th deadline.  Best of luck to all the 25-2A(1A) representatives, Big Sandy, Deweyville, Sabine Pass, Spurger & High Island as we all start the road to Round Rock.
