He’s actually referring to an actual book entitled “Scouting for Boys” written in 1908 by a British Army officer thought to have begun the scouting movement. Waters was probably using this line to show that the kid had a normal life before becoming a musician and a part of the machine (the music industry). An excellent song. One of many by Pink Floyd. 

Nice win Cardinals, now need to win series at Nichols

Cardinals more to 37-10 on the season with an 8-4 win over Rice on the road.  Off to Nicholls for the biggest conference series of the season to this point.
