If HJ was working some on the pass in their last scrimmage, but isn't going to throw as much in real games, I don't think it will be a blowout, but if they keep trying to win through the air, this could get out of hand.

Man I sure hope you are wrong about Moreaux.  Such a great kid and a playmaker.   Also I thought if someone transfers that they lose a year of eligibility?

Not if they establish residency and the district committee rules he did not transfer for athletic reasons. If that is the case, all he will have to sit out is 15 school days which would be the first 3 weeks of the season. He would be eligible to play week 4.

Now if it is ruled that he transferred for athletic reasons, he will have to sit out a year. Of course he could appeal the ruling to the UIL.

I hope its another fluke. But I've heard from more than one person bout it. But given he wasn't at hf/kountze scrimmage with the 12+ hj varsity football kids that he hang with. I can see the news being true. Praying its not true thou.

And what I meant by sitting out a year, he would not be able to play varsity sports this entire school year. He would be able to play JV sports.

Just received word that Moreaux was at HJ High school this morning attending classes. So he has not transferred.
